I graduated from high school last Friday... @jazmynenicole may have graduated with me.

"Lou, seriously I'm not in the mood to go down memory lane." I rolled my eyes as he continued to tug my wrist.

All week he had been ignoring me and being distant. He was making mysterious phone calls, he stopped talking whenever I came in the room, and the weirdest part was that he was his regular self around everyone but me.

It was like his light was gone when I was around. Like my presence was literally hitting the switch to turn him from happy, care free Louis into a silent, half-baked version of himself. It was strange.

I wanted to trust Gemma, but he was really making me nervous.

"Remember when you were eleven? You, Harry, and I rode our bikes up here even though we weren't supposed to. You scraped your knee in that exact spot." With his left hand he pointed towards where a tree stump jutted out of the grassy area.

I chuckled at the memory,"That branch came out of nowhere!" His head fell back as he laughed too.

"We got in so much trouble! Our moms told us to never come near this lake again." He wiped at the tears that had fallen on his cheeks from laughing so hard with his free hand, the other still tightly clutching my arm.

"And yet, here we are." I motioned to the area around me dryly even though he was not paying attention.

Finally we reached the same dock where we had our first date. The same date that was, in the beginning, very beautiful and thoughtfully planned out.

Unfortunately, I was not reminiscing for long before the memories of the day after filled my head. The ones from when he abandoned me on the small boat without so much as a phone call or a note.

Calm down Marcel, you forgave him for that remember?

Oh yeah. I guess it was just the fear of him slipping away now that only reminded me further of how he left me then. I did not want to experience that again. Or to imagine him cheating on me like he did once before? I certainly did not want to deal with anymore Eleanor's.

I giggled slightly at the fact that literally everything I had just thought rhymed. I hadn't even noticed that he let my wrist go until he was facing me. His face was unreadable. But the tears growing in his eyes weren't.

Oh goodness, so he was breaking up with me. This is where it all ends I suppose. What does he wish to accomplish here? Making it so I could never step foot on a dock, or a boat again?

"Marcel..." Here we go.

"Marcel, I just..." Let's just get this over with.

"Marcel, I just brought you back here to-"

"Louis will you spit it out already?" I covered my mouth, clearly embarrassed by my sudden outburst. His eyes widened and he let out a slight scoff mixed with some sort of laugh.

He held his hands in front of me, almost seeming to ask for permission with his eyes. I nodded, so he took both of my hands into his and led me further onto the dock. He pointed towards the water with a smirk. This time instead of a little boat covered with lights, there was a big, white ship.

Not quite a yaht, the boat looked as though it could hold at least a hundred people. There was no way Louis could afford something like this. I was beginning to worry that Louis had become some sort of pirate and had stolen it.
