I woke up earlier than I intended to but I knew I had a big day ahead of me. Not just school wise, I had a few things due today but I handed them in long ago. I had to apologize to Adam today, and that's a big deal since he's the most dramatic person I know.

Adam is so hard to talk to sometimes because he'll just avoid you. Whenever I have to apologize to him after doing or saying something stupid he ignores me the whole day, until the last few minutes of school and then he'll apologize to me because he felt bad all day for ignoring me. It's like he gets sick of being alone so he just comes back and begs me to forgive him when it starts out as the other way around.

I got dressed and did my hair. I wanted to get to school early so I could catch Adam before he went into class. I didn't need him to avoid me, because it never helps anyone and it makes us both feel bad.

My walk to school was colder and the wind bit my face. My hood was pulled up and I was trying hard to walk in a straight line without the wind blowing me around. I see Adam outside walking into the school building and I start running. I feel like he knows I'm looking for him because then he starts walking faster and by the time I'm in the school, he's gone.

Typical Adam.

I sigh and the bell rings so I just make my way to my locker. Getting my books out and slamming it shut.

When lunch came around I was standing in the open doors of the cafeteria looking for Adam, because I couldn't find him anywhere. Of course. He was either outside on the track or in this mess, but I surely couldn't think of anywhere else he would be. I know he was here because I caught glimpses of him throughout the day so far. I tried to catch him but he would see me and be off.

I sighed, annoyed of Adam's behaviour already and the day was barely over. I seen Gemma sitting at the same table we sat at yesterday and made my way over to her. She looked up and smiled and I smiled back and sat down across from her. I didn't have anything to eat today because I wasn't hungry. If anything I was exhausted, and it was all Adam's fault.

"Hey." She says kindly and I realize I was staring at her.

"Oh, hi. Sorry, I was just thinking." I cough awkwardly and she just nods.

"You okay?"

"Just tired. Adam's completely ignoring me and I've been looking for him all day but I can't find him anywhere." I rest my head in my palms, which are leaning on my elbows.

"I thought I just saw him in here." She turned around in her seat looking in all directions.

"I've looked."

She turns around and slumps. "Why is he ignoring you?"

"I kind of flipped out on him yesterday."

"Ah... And now what? He won't let you apologize?"

"Exactly."

"Hey he's coming." She leaned in to whisper and I immediately turn around and make perfect eye contact with him. He took a few steps toward me but then turned around completely when he seen Gemma.

"He doesn't like me." She says softly, I almost don't hear her. I hum in response for her to repeat it and she does.

"Why not?"

"I... I-I don't know actually." She gets up and collects her bag and tray. "I'm going to try to reason with him." She has a sad expression across her face but I don't ask.

I'm not sure if I should stay by myself while two of my friends talk to each other, or if I should be there with them since they're not friends themselves.
