Chapter Twenty-one
Now It's Started
"And how exactly did you find this Lailah?" William asked giving the open gate a quizzical look
I cringed remembering the last time I was here but soon covered it with a smile "I was walking around yesterday and it was just here ..."
"It's probably the teachers gate" Davie nodded confidently "all Vampire schools have them , normally hidden better than this one though"
Anthony walked over to the gate and turned to us with a mischievous smile "What are you guys waiting for?"
"Are you sure about this guys, this could get us in a lot of trouble" Colette said giving a nervous glance behind her like she thought someone was watching us
I sighed not caring if we got in trouble or not. Did you know I haven't even got a call from my ever so caring parents on my birthday, that's the least they could do since there leaving without me.
"Come on guys, we'll only be gone for a couple hours no one will notice" Anthony shrugged as if it was no big deal "It's Lala's Birthday, let's all have some fun!"
Colette sighed but agreed anyway "Fine but if we get into trouble, I'm blaming you guys!"
I grinned "Sure, now let's go"
We all made our way out of the gate and soon we were FREE of De Lutha Academy and everything that came along with that, even thought it may be only for a small while ...
We caught a taxi into town our spirits high as kites although Colette was still a little unsure.
I looked out the taxi window and smiled knowing that today would be a good birthday and I was going to make sure of it
I don't know what happened next but the next few ours where a whirlwind of craziness. We ran around town like fools high of some energy drinks Anthony made us drink. I think we must of pissed of so many people in town insisting that jumping out on them while they were shopping is the best prank ever!
It was pretty fun just messing around with my friends, no matter what was going to happen when we get back to school, right now it's time to enjoy my birthday!
~
"Anthony!" I screamed after him as he ran away with my left shoe that fell of when I insisted I could do a higher high kick than him.
"I'll get him" William said before whizzing past me and Colette to then tackle Anthony while Davie looked on with a disapproving glare
"They've had to much Red Bull" Colette said
I nodded in agreement as I stood there on one leg. I looked up at the sky in confusion for a second
"It's dark" I noted
"I know" Colette said "we've been out here longer than we planned"
"Hm" I said "do you want to go back?"
Colette shook her head
"Me neither" I bit down on my lip I looked round the street and paused as my eyes landed on CRAZY STEVES Night Club ... well there's an idea.
Colette followed my gaze and she laughed "Seriously Lialah?"
"What?!" I asked defensively "It's my birthday Colette tonight's supposed to be a good time"
"We'd never get in, you are totally crazy-"
"Got it!" William yelled from the tangle he was in with Anthony as he held up my shoe in victory
"Ok well obviously they wouldn't get away with being eighteen" I said
"Hm they wouldn't even get away with being double figures" Colette snorted "And your as short as my twelve year old cousin"
I glared at her but couldn't deny it, I am so short
My eyes then grazed over Davie and I paused "Davies tall and those glasses make him look eighteen at the least right?"
Colette held up her hands and took a step back from me "I want nothing to do with this Lailah"
I rolled my eyes at her before calling for Davie
After telling Davie and everyone else the plan we set our sights on getting into the Night Club
"Remind me what I'm getting out of this again?" Davie whispered as we stood behind a group of people in line
"Um the opportunity to have an awesome time with your best friends" I said
Davie rolled his eyes "Fine but you owe me"
"Whatever you say" I sang just as the people in front of us moved in
The bouncer looked our group up and down with a hard stare
Please, please, please just let us in
The bouncer opened his mouth-
Crap, he's going to ask for ID
"ID, all of you" He said gruffly and my heart sunk
Davie pretended to check his pockets " ah no I don't have it on me sorry mate"
The bouncer quirked a brow before folding his arms "No ID, no entry now move along your holding up the line"
I frowned about to give up when Davie moved forward to the eye level of the bouncer
"What the f*ck is he doing?" Anthony mumbled from beside me
"Has he got a death wish?" Colette squeaked nervously
If Davie got hurt it would be my fault I knew I had to stop this
Just as I was about to step forward Davie whispered something un- audible to us but the bouncer seemed to have heard perfectly as his eyes widened to the size of saucers.
"R-Right" The bouncer stuttered his original hard exterior melting away "Of course in you go"
Davie turned to us with a grin seeming very proud of himself. I had no idea how but somehow Davie had managed to get us in.
We all followed Davie inside and we all gave him a very imposing look
"What the hell was that?!" Anthony hissed over the loud banging music
"Oh that?" Davie shrugged passively "You guys all think Vampire Studies are useless but there you see an old Royal Vampire commandment just got us into a Night Club"
I had no idea how it had worked but we were all over the moon it did because now it means my birthday has now really started
