Chapter Twenty-Five

Ever Heard Of The Word Soulmate?

I'm his?

I'm bloody his?

Is he just joking or has he lost all sense of what's real and normal?

"I don't belong to anyone" I said as calmly as I could master bitting down the anger because he's clearly mentally unstable and needs help.

Nathan didn't say anything, laying a hand on my neck he inspected my bite mark carefully instead. I both hated and loved the feeling of his touch on my skin. I had to remind myself he was a possessive crazy psycho and push him away.

"Can I go now please?" I asked in an impatient voice

He let out a deep sigh before removing his body of mine although made no move to open the door.

"Open the door" I glared up at where he stood "I'm not kidding Nathan, open the door!"

He ignored me, turning round to take a seat at his desk instead

And do you know what he did next?

He started reading!

Too many bad words described how I felt at that moment, so many I would sure be going to hell if I said them.

An exasperate noise left my lips glaring holes into the back of his head.

At this point I just really want to go home and I don't mean my dorm room. I mean my home, real home I just wish I was a child again back in the time when Vampires weren't here and I was happy being a naive little girl.

I wish I was still naive, things would be so much simpler.

I could be naive to the feelings Nathan stirs inside my stomach, maybe I'd be able to ignore it.

But did I really want to ignore it?

My hands wrapped around the ring hanging from my neck and I wanted to cry. If grandad was here everything would be ok. He'd tell me what to do and I'd follow him, because he's the only man I trust ... trusted

One single tear fell from my eye and before I could stop it the waterfalls came.

My clamped my hand around my mouth trying to stop the sobs but Nathan heard. Hurrying to my side, Nathan wrapped his hand in mine. I risked a glance at his worried expression and quickly turned away from him not wanting him to comfort me because that was the reason I was in this state.

I didn't want him,

Although deep down the yearn for him was on fire

"Little one, what's wrong?" He murmured laying a hand delicately on my cheek I leaned in closer despite myself feeling the ecstatic feelings jumble in my stomach ...

F*ck, I can't handle this anymore.

I pulled away, jumping up of the bed and bolted for the bathroom in a fit of a few seconds.Locking the bolt dead across, I slid my back down the door letting the fat tears run down my cheeks. There was no stoping them, they just kept falling.

"Lailah" Nathan said tapping on the door lightly "what's wrong?"

Just leave me alone

My cries echoed around the bathroom and the want to curl up in a ball and hide was strong.

"Open the door Lailah, you need to talk to me" Nathan said

"I don't want to talk to you" I hiccuped hiding my face in my hands so the words were mumbled

It was silent for a while and I think I heard Nathan pacing from the sound of the creaks from the floorboards.

"Please open the door Lailah" Nathan pleaded rattling the handle in a forceful manner

When I didn't respond he let go of an irritated sigh

"Open this door Lailah" Nathan said in a more demanding manner

I glared down at my hands hating his tone and just everything about the situation

"Lailah-"

"Just go away!" I cried running my hands down my face that was fresh with wet tears

"Lailah please let me make you feel better-"

"No, stop it just go away" I insisted whipping my tears away furiously "I hate it Nathan, leave me alone"

"You hate what?" Nathan asked his voice deep with concern

"You" I stuttered looking down at my hands "Me"

"Lailah your not making sense" He said

"I hate what you do to me Nathan!" I admitted the words spilling out in a jumble "You pay even one look my direction and I've already fallen at your feet, I hate how I can't control myself around you, I let you touch me like we're in love but I can't think of one single quality about you that I even like, I can never think clearly when I'm around you, you get me muddled and it leaves me so f*cking confused ..." I wavered of hiding my face in my hands in shame even though there was a door between us it felt as if he was right next to me

"Lailah" Nathan said without emotion and I shivered at the coldness "I need to tell you something"

I pulled my head out of my hands intrigued "What?"

"You need to know all these feelings, your feeling there completely normal" He said

My brows creased thinking is this the part he tells me it's all part of puberty and growing up into a woman?

"This attraction you feel towards me is expected Lailah, I'm sorry if it's made you feel this way, the way you obviously do. It was never my intensions" He said

"What are your talking about?" I asked biting on the end of my nail in anticipation

"Lailah have you ever heard of the word soulmate?"
