A Scarf In Question

"She looks so evil"

"So f*cking hot though" Anthony said winking at William who rolled his eyes before staring back cautiously at Annabel as she made her way across the cafeteria

"Aw your such a prude" Jasper laughed ruffling Williams hair he only growled in response

"Hey blondie, I'm the only one at this table who can make fun of Mrs sensitive here" Anthony joked

Jasper stuck out his tongue "It's silver not blonde"

"Ooh" He cooed jabbing him in the side that resulted in Jasper thumping him hard in the head

I smirked at there little squabble over something so trivial

"I really wonder why she's here" Davie said from beside me

"And why it has to be my dorm" I added glancing at him

Davie shrugged "maybe there's a reason behind it, I mean you're obviously special Lala"

"Thanks Davie" I scoffed just as my phone vibrated in my pocket, I pulled it out looking down at my phone

-Mum- Since you've been ignoring all our calls, I thought this would be the only way to inform you we'll be coming up to see you on Friday to talk everything through properly so be ready x

My teeth ground together trying to push my anger away. It's true I've been ignoring all their calls but that's only because I really don't want to speak to them, they can do whatever the hell they want with their lives I just don't want to be involved anymore. If they're going to treat me like a stranger I'll be doing the same.

This friday is sure going to be torture ...

The bell ringing bought me out of my phone and into Colette's concerned stare.

I smiled showing her everything's ok as I stood up and picking up my bag from under the seat

"Are you ok?" Colette asked joining my side

I nodded turning to her with a bright smile "yeah everything's fine, why wouldn't it be?"

Colette frowned "It's just ..."

Jasper joined us bringing us both into a hug "Come on guys, first lesson with Mr Waters remember?"

I smiled motioning for us to start walking

"See you guys" We all said to the other guys before parting our ways to different lessons

Our lesson- History with Mr Waters

"So what's with the scarf Lailah, are you cold?" Jasper asked giving me a joking smile

I returned the smile "is it illegal to wear scarfs now?"

"No just very, very out of fashion" He smirked "also I think it's against the schools dress code ..."

"Well this may be a shock to you Jasper but I'll have you know I'm not one to follow the crowd ... or rules for that matter" I said as we turned the corner down to the history room

"Oh trust me honey, I know" Jasper said giving me a playful look "Davie told me all about the mad antics you got up to on your birthday"

I laughed shaking my head at the memory "next time you have to tag along"

"Next time?!" Colette squeaked "please don't tell me we're doing that again, one time was enough, literally I don't think I could handle another party as hard as that for possibly ... ever"

Jasper laughed "now I understand why you wear scarfs"

I wasn't really sure what he meant by that and I wasn't sure if Colette did either but we laughed along with him anyway.
