Dear Diary,

Hide knocked on my door last night. My training has been well and so have I but he knocked on my door. I wasn't too pleased for him to show up unannounced, especially since he hadn't contacted me in awhile. But when I saw his face, I couldn't help but let him in. I had missed him. He had been my best friend for as long as I could count.

We talked, laughed, watched TV and forgot about everything for that night. It was honestly fun but Kaneki was still always in the back of my mind. I wondered if Hide knew anything about him but I didn't wanna ask. I knew it was a touchy subject for the both of us.

The whole night went well untill around twelve a.m.. Hide and I were sitting down on the couch and he placed his hand on top of mine.

I looked at him with confusion and he leaned in. In that moment, I was scared. I couldn't kiss him, I just couldn't. I didn't see him any more than a friend.

So, I lightly pushed him away. He was upset and he got up. I shouted his name a few times but he walked out of my house, slamming the door.

I was beyond exhausted so I closed my eyes and fell asleep on the couch. Haven't heard from him since.
