Chapter Three: Exploration

Bryan's Pov

One week have passed and I still had the same dream over and over again. I can't help it. I must find her. But where? How? I tried asking Dameron, CH and Finn, but they didn't care and answer me. They kept silent as I asked. Totally not supportive.

Oh yeah, school was great and everything went well and I made some friends. But not close or best friends. Just friends from school. That's all. Now where we're we? Oh yeah....her...

Well now it's Saturday and I have nothing to do. I heard that this town Is famous for the Town Center. I heard it's not far here. But still, I don't know how to go there. I know, I'll ask Dameron. He'll bring me there.

I head downstairs​ and went out from the house. My parents were not at home. Big meeting, unexpected meeting. But still they have to attend it. Unavoidable, I guess. I head to Dameron's house. I knocked on the door. The door opened. "Hello Bryan?" He said. "Hello." I said. "Let me guess? Town Center?" He said. I was shocked. "How did you know?" I said, shocked. "Well every newbie wants to go to the Town Center." He said. Then he got out and we head to Town Center.

Time Skipped To Town Center

I finally reached here. I gotta admit, it is lively here. Very nice. "Everyday it is lively. Get used to it." He said. I nodded. Then we walked around. I can see malls, mini shops, and Fancy restaurants. This place have everything. That means that if I want to buy clothes I can buy it here. "Anything interesting here that you want to buy?" He said. "No...not yet." I said. Then we kept on walking.

As i walked around, admiring the view and checking the goods that they sell here, I heard a voice. It was ominous. I got a little frightened. I can feel goosebumps on my skin. The voice grew louder and louder. I walked to an alley, following the voice. I can feel someone grabbed my hand. "Hey! Where are you going? The town is back here." He said, pulling me. I stopped him. "Wait here. I'll be back." I said. He nodded. "Be careful." He said. I gave him a thumbs up, confirming that I heed his warning. I continued walking. I can hear the voice again, giving me directions. I followed each command and suddenly I saw her...

Its her. It's really her. I felt happy. I looked at her. She was sitting down, hugging her legs. I know where she lived now, that's good. I looked at her in pity. "Don't worry it'll be over before you know it." I said, reassuring myself. I cannot just talk to her yet. Not yet. Because I want to wait for the right moment. But then, My parents. I don't think they agree on taking care of her. Then I remembered something. My mother was once upset that she wanted a daughter. They are planning on adopting but they have to move here. I think this is a perfect chance for me to take care of her.

I walked away from there and went to a nearby stall, a fruit stall. Then I bought some fruits. Then I came back to the alley. I walked to her. She looked up. Her eyes is beautiful...wait what? "Hello, how are you?" I said, sitting down next to her. She looked uncomfortable. "Sorry am I disturbing you?" I said. She shook her head, meaning no I am not disturbing her. "I'm fine thank you." She said, shyly. I can tell that she is not familiar talking to anyone. Poor her. "What is your name?" I said. "Sophie Hayden." She said. I took out the plastic bags full of fruits. "Here you go. These are for you." I said. "I'm not hungry." She said. I knew that she is lying. Suddenly her stomach growled. She blushed. Then I gave her the fruits. She took it and ate it.

"So this is where you live?" I said. She nodded. "Tomorrow I will came back here, so stay here ok?" I said. Then I stood up and walked out of the alley. I ran to Dameron. "What took you so long?" He said. "Nothing, just checking." I said. "Hey how about we go back home? I'm done here anyway." I said. He nodded and we walked back home.

Time Skipped To Back Home

I finally reached home at last. I can see my parents car. That means that they are back home. Perfect! I went inside and saw my parents. "Hello Son! How's your day?" Said Mother. "Good." I said. Then I went upstairs to my room....

Time Skipped To Dinner

We were eating dinner. I was silent the whole time because I was thinking on what to do to take care of her. I can't just take care of her because my parents would kill me because of that. What should I say? "Son? You ok?" Said Father. I jumped a little out of shock. I looked at him. "Yeah..." It obvious that I am not ok. Ok here goes nothing. "Father you did say once that you wanted a daughter right?" I said. He nodded. "Yeah why?" He said. "Well I found this homeless girl named Sophie Hayden and I was wondering if you would like to take her as your adopted child?" I said. He looked at me. "Well....maybe but you must show me who she is." He said. "Alright tomorrow I will show her to you." I said. Good....Phase one completed. On to Phase Two....
