Chapter Seventeen: The Road To Confession (Part Two)

Brian's Pov

We walked to school. Once we reached the gate, me and Sophie went to the school hall. From there, I passed by some of Sophie's friends. Again, they were a little giddy and annoying, making Sophie looked down.

"Sophie, why are your friends became giddy and annoying?" I asked. She shrugged. I ignored what just happened because that was obviously not the reason why.

We head to the notice board. "Here we are." I said as we reached the notice board. "Lets see." I tried looking for the event. After a few minutes of searching, I finally found the event I'm looking for. "Ah, here it is." I said, pointing the poster of the event. Sophie looked at the poster of the event. "So, what about it?" She asked.

"As a payback, Sophie Hayden, would you be my date for the school dance?" I asked, sounded like a gentleman. She looked down. Her face gone red. "Y-you want me to be your d-date?" She stuttered. She must be nervous. "Yes, yes i do." I said. Then I realised. "Oh and don't worry you don't know how to dance. I can teach you." I said. She looked at me. "Ok, if you say so." She said.

The place went silent, well, there is still students running around, but the conversation became silent. Then the school bell rang. "Well, lets get going shall we?" I asked. "Yeah, lets go." She replied, smiling.

Sophie's Pov

Oh man! Now I have to be Brian's date for the school dance. Sometimes I wonder, why did the school have this kind of activity? If we are friends, then I guess it's ok, but.....I have a crush on him. Yeah, that's right, I have a crush on him. I don't know why, but everytime I saw Brian, my heart felt like to explode. I can't say anything. In other words, I'm speechless.

I don't know what to do anymore. Anymore like this, i think I'm gonna be sick, literally, and the only cure was for me to confess my feelings for him. Luckily, I'm at home.

Why the crush on him? Well, these past month, me and Brian was spring cleaning his bedroom. You know how Brian loves his room tidy and neat. Then, I saw something, a cape, and a bandana. From there I remember my bloody or betrayal date with Fakyu Mein. Gross. The masked crusader was Brian. Once I knew that he was the one who saved me, then I realised, how much he cares for me and my wellbeing, my education and my attitude.

I sighed. I lay down on my bed, from there I went to the table beside my bed. I took out a picture. It's me and Brian when we were going to a water theme park. I remember like it was yesterday, me, and Brian, having fun, playing with water and what's more better is that Brian's parents was not around, so me and him have lots of time to hangout. From there, be tought me how to swim and float on water. He was impressed that I can learn quickly as he learned it so slow.

Then, I heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened it. It turns out that it was Brian. He came in the room. Then, he sat down on my bed. "What do you want?" I asked. "Well, since there's nothing to do, and I'm so bored, how about I teach you on how to dance?" He asked. "Well, ok, it's not like I'm doing anything else anyway." I replied. Actually, I already knew how to dance. But since Brian is so pumped for me to dance with him, why not just a little pretend. Why not?

I'm dancing with my crush. Wait, I'm dancing with my crush. He stood up and walked near me. I looked at him, our eyes meet. My gosh, he is so handsome and don't forget, very kind. Then he teached me the moves and I just pretend that I didn't know. Unfortunately, the faking was not that good I managed to pick up his pace. Great.

"Sophie?" He called my name. "Yes?" I said, looking at him in the eyes. He twirled me around and dip me, making our eyes and lips very close. "You're just pretending, aren't you?" He said, looking at my eyes. I can feel warm at my cheeks, my face getting redder by the second. "I-i uhh.." I stuttered, not knowing on what to say. His smirk and his words made me speechless. He chuckled. "No need to say anything." He said. We stopped dancing. "I can tell by your pace already." He said. I got no words to say. I'm speechless. His words, his smirk and his confidence was making me blush. Ugh, it's really hard to hold on this feeling of love...
