Brian Pov

Well, this is the day of the dance. I'm really excited and at the same time so very nervous. Me and my crush, who probably didn't even liked me is dancing at the school dance. I sighed as I looked at the scenery of the streets through the window. Suddenly there was a knock at my door. "Come in, it's not even locked." I said, looking at the door. It was my mother. "Hey sweetie." She said. I smiled and she smiled back. "Yes? Can I help you?" I said. She sat down on my bed, then she invited me to sit next to her.

"So are you ready for the dance?" She asked. "Yep, all ready." I replied. It was silent. "Mom?" I called. "Yes?" She replied. "Is it ok if you're in love with your best friend?" I asked, blushing. I need advice, and what a better person who gives the best advice more than my mother? "No, it's not weird." She said. "Why the question?" She asked. I blushed and speechless. "Do you have a crush on someone?" She said, smirking. "What? Me? No!!" I said, trying my best hiding my crush. At that moment, I really messed up. She smirked at me. I looked down as she did that.

"It's Sophie isn't it?" She said. I blushed so hard. But I got no way to run so I admit by nodding. "Hah! I knew it!" She said. "Yeah you caught me." I said, sarcasticly. "So what do you want me to do?" She asked. "Nothing." I said. "You want me to give ideas on how to confess to her?" She asked. "No, it's because, I don't even know if she liked me or not? Why bother confessing?" I said in denial. She laughed. "What?" She said while laughing. "Not funny mom." I said. "Well, its up to you whether you want me to help or not, but if you guys are a couple, I allowed it, and so will your father." She said. "Ok." I replied. She then stood up and walked out of my room.

I sighed. I don't know. Is it really worth it if I confess to her. If she liked me, then it's fine but then if she didn't like me, then our relationship will be ruined. I don't want that to happen!!! I'm too stressed out because of this. I opened the window and stepped out of it. I sat down and felt the wind blowing at me. I sighed. "What am I supposed to do?" I said to myself. "Supposed to do what?" Said someone familiar. I was shocked and stiffed. I looked behind. It was Sophie. I was shocked. She then climbed out the window and sat next to me. She smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Well?" She asked. "Umm, take none of your business." I said. "Aww!! Tell me!!" She said acting like a little kid. "No, I don't wanna." I said, pouting. She shakes me like what a kid will do if they want something. "Seriously, it's none of your business." I said, giving a glare. Her smile became a frown. "Oh, ok." She said, sounded all sad. "I'm sorry." She said. "It's fine. One question?" I asked. "Yes?" She asked. "How in the world did you get inside my room?" I asked. "Dude, like, your room is opened. How can I not enter?" She said while laughing. "Yeah, stupid me." I said. Then, it was silent. "You know, you don't have to go to the dance." I said. "Why?" She asked. "I kinda feel bad for making you go to it and making you my partner." I said, feeling guilty. "Nah, I actually wanted to dance with you." She said. "Wait what?!" I said, all shocked. She blushed and looked away from me. She wanted to dance with me?

She got up and went inside...

Sophie's POV

Why? Why did I say that. I ran to my room and lock it. I jumped on my bed and scream as loud as I could in my pillow. Once I'm destressed, I sat down. I sighed. "Well, at least he didn't knew? I hope he didnt know that I had a crush on him." I said. I look at the clock. "Oh shoot, the dance starts in an hour!" I said, shocked. I got up and took my shower and combed my hair. I went to my closet and took out the dress that Brian gave me. "Wow, it must be expensive." I said, amazed. I wore it and went to the mirror. "To think, he bought it for me. Why though?" I asked to myself. "And I'm talking to a mirror." I laughed.

Once I'm done, I went out of my room and went downstairs. Brian's mother was there and boy was she shocked. "Wow!!! You looked stunning!!!" She said, amazed. I looked down in embarrassment. "It was Brian's idea for me to wear it." I said, still looking down. "Oh, is that so?" She said, as if like she knew something, I can't put my finger on this but I'm pretending that didn't happened.

I wait for Brian to come downstairs. After a few minutes of waiting, I heard the door of Brian's room closed, which means that he is out of his room and coming to the staircase. As he walked down, my jaws dropped by his looks. Wow, he looked amazing!! I feel like to scream!!! The handsomeness of him made me melt and I can stare at his face if I wanted to. And I can also see that he too, was shocked as he saw me. Looking all lovestruck at me. Lovestruck? Nah, maybe it's the dress.

He came near me. My heart pounding and butterflies in my tummy. Wow...he is gorgeous!! "Wow, Sophie." He said. "You looked so beautiful!" He said, all amazed. I blushed as he said that. "T-thanks for t-the compliment." I stuttered. Wait, why am I stuttering? Then Brian's mother took a camera. "Alright you lovebirds." She said. I looked away from Brian. But before I looked away, his cheeks were red. Is he blushing? Nah, my eyes must have decieved me. She laughed. "Let me take a pic of you guys!" She said excitedly. Not long from that she took a pic of us and we headed out to school....

This is going to be a very long dance....
