Chapter Eighteen: The Road To Confession (Part Three)

Sophie's Pov

It's only two more days for the school dance. Great. Dancing with my crush, without him knowing that I have a crush on him. Great. Well, I'm getting worried about it, don't know what to do and freaking out in my mind.

"Hey? You ok?" Someone beside me asked. I am now in reality. I was shocked until I jumped a little.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied. The one beside me is named Amanda. She is my best friend. We share tons of secret together. She knows that I have a crush on Brian.

"Thinking about your crush again?" She asked. "What? Me? No! Hell no." I replied nervously with a nervous laugh. She looked at me, giving a smirk. I looked down. "Fine, yes. I'm thinking of him." I confessed.

"Well, if you love him, then just confess to him. Who knows? He might have a crush on you?" She adviced. "Yeah right. As if he had a crush on me, I'm not that beautiful." I said. She laughed. "As if. You're the most beautiful girl in school, don't you know that?" She asked. "Nah." I replied. "Every boys here have a crush on you." She said. I looked down, shooking my head in denial.

"Hey, look over there." She said. I looked up and looked at what she is looking. "Yeah? So what?" I asked. It's just Brian that just arrived at the cafeteria. "Just confess to him. It's not that hard." She said. I shook my head in denial. "Nah, what if he didn't love me back. Then I'll be there all heartbroken and embarrassed. I'd rather just hold my feelings rather than be embarrassed by all." I said in denial.

She got up and grabbed my hand. I was shocked. "Eh! What happened?" I asked. "To make you confess to him." She said, walking to his direction. Great.

Then we reached him. He stood up and looked at me. I looked down in embarrassment. "Hello Brian." She started. He smiled at her. "Yes?" He said, all polite. His friends are all eyeing on me. "Sophie had something to say to you." She said. "Really what is it?" He asked. "Hmm... i-uhh..." I said, all speechless. His friends are all eyeing on me. The situation is getting worse. Should I confess to him? Is it the right time? No, I shouldn't. I looked at his eyes, the beautiful eyes. Makes me wanna stare at the eyes all day. "Umm, I hope that you're ready for the dance two days from now." I said, thinking of no other ways to escape the situation. Thankfully he bought it. I can tell by his smile. "Ok, can't wait too. Ensure you wear the dress I gave you ok?" He winked at me.

It's the first time I had seen him did that to me. I blush as he did that. Good thing it's not that clear. Then I went outside of the cafeteria with Amanda. I was so embarrassed and so pissed of right now. "What the heck?! That was not cool." I said angrily. She laughed so hard. I looked at her with a death glare, then she punched me. "Relax, it's ok." She said. "No it's not. That was embarrassing." I said with a tiny of red of my cheeks.

"Nah, it's fine. Wait." She stopped. "Yeah? What happened?" I asked. Her face was shocked. "He is your partner for the dance?" She asked. I nodded. "Yeah, why?" I asked. "That's good news!!!" She said out loud. "I think he must've liked you." She said. I shook my head in denial. "Nah, it must have been a friend kinda thing." I said. "Are you nuts?!" She said. "No boy will just ask a girl out on a dance." She said. "It's a big sign that the boy likes the girl. It's a well known fact." She said, as if she is a love expert. I rolled my eyes. Maybe she does have a point. Nah, me and my feelings, hopeless...

Brian's Pov

Ugh!! Stupid! What am I doing? Winking at her. I sat down as soon as she left. "Why can't I just act normal in front of her?" I said in frustration. I banged my head on the table, causing the food on the table to fly a bit. "Stupid!" I said, while banging the table. I sighed, my head, laying down on the table. "You done being all emotional?" Said someone beside me. I got up, shocked. It was Dameron. "What the heck?" I said, shocked. "You're still here?" I asked. "Yeah, I saw everything." He said. "Stupid right?" I asked. He sat down while laughing. Dameron is the only one who knew that I have a crush on her. Although, I feel like he is hiding something from me, something that I needed to know about, but I can't put a finger on it. Later, I'll know, sooner or later.

"I dunno, it looked like she liked you." He said as soon he stopped laughing. His face looked serious. "What makes you say that?" I asked. He is to me, is a love expert. He had a girlfriend. But I don't know who she is. I bet she is beautiful. "She kinda blushed and act all weird around you. Did you realise that?" He asked. I shook my head. "Nope, I didn't. Now that you mentioned it, she has kinda act all weird around me. Until she didn't answer my questions. I'm kinda worried about that behaviour." I said. "Yep, it's official." He said. "What?" I asked. "She liked you." He said. "Nah, there are many boys that is way better than me." I said.

"Meh, she had her eyes on you and willing to give her heart to you." He said. "You don't realise any of this?" He asked. I shook my head. "Even though she liked me, which is impossible, how am I going to confess to her?" I asked. He shrugged. "That's for you to find out." He said. Does she liked me? Or am I just crazy and too crazy for a relationship? I don't know...not, at, all...

Hello it's me, the author. Sorry for the late update, I have been up to researching for the next chapter. Second reason was because of the laziness of updating and writing the new chapter, but hey, I'm back and back to updating the new chapter.
