Chapter Twenty One: School Dance (Part Three)

Sophie's Pov

"Wait! Where are you going?!" I whispered. "Stopping this once and for all." He said as he is letting go of my hand. "But if you go, then you'll get shot." I said, on the verge of tears. "Please don't go, I can't let you go Brian." I snuffled between those words. He smiled. "Who said anything about dying?" He asked. Once he said that I heard a gunshot shooting to the roof. "Come out, come out wherever you are." The man with the gun said playfully.

"No, Brian. Please." I begged him. He didn't listen. His face looked serious. I have never seen this side of him before. He then walked to the door. "If anything happens to me. Nah, nothing is gonna happen to me anyway." He said, smirking. Then he left the door.

From there, I cried silently, hoping that Brian will be alright. What was he thinking? He is a boy and those guys are men. Sure he had learn and advanced in Karate but, those men have guns. Why? Please be careful. Then I heard a person came in the room. It sounded like he was wearing an Armour. I sat there, under the table, stiffed, letting out a single breath every two seconds.

Suddenly the table flipped and I was seen clearly. "Ahhhhh!!!" I screamed to the top of my lungs. It was a man. He had a black skin and really looked like the kind of type you don't wanna mess with. "There you are." He said, giving me a devilish look.

He grabbed me and we were outside, in front of everyone. Then the leader came to me, who was still in the hands of the man. "Sophie Hayden. What a lovely time meeting you huh?" He said, giving me a devilish look. "Why are you doing this?" I asked.

"In the order of Fakyu Mein." He said. Fakyu Mein?. Isn't he the one who kidnapped me and then some guy saved me. Believe me, actually he is Brian. Brian, where are you? I need you. He looked at me. "Alright, our work here is done." He said. Then the man who held me make me walk to the car. I tried to escape but there was no escaping these arms.

So I walked, in defeat, knowing I'm gonna die. I think Brian died from those men, or at least he is fatally injured.. Well, it's time to face it. I'm gonna die. See you later world.

I kept walking, blinded by thoughts, I didn't see what's in front of me. "Ahhkkk" shouted one of the men, releasing me from the tight grip. I kept moving forward, blinded by thoughts until I bumped into someone. I was shocked. From that moment on, I know, it was Brian. He hugged me and I felt secured, like being rescued. "Thank you." I said, hugging him tightly. "You're welcome." He said. Few seconds later, he pushed me very hard as if he was making me dodge something. I fell of the ground, hard. While falling I heard a gunshot. I looked at Brian, he was on the ground.

"Brian?" I asked. He groaned in pain. "Sophie, get as far away from here." He said. I can feel my tears running down my cheeks. I heard a laughter, a familiar one I must say. "You think you can just get away from that?" It asked. The voice seemed so very familiar. The person stood in the light. Now, he is clearly seen. "Surprised?" He said. "I should've thrown you in prison the moment your unconscious." Said Brian, standing up. He laughed. "Well, tell me Brian, what can you do?" He asked.

I was stiffed, I can't do anything, and now, he is pointing the gun to Brian, who is still recovering from the shot. Blood running down his hand, dripping on the ground. "I'm gonna make you regret on what you've done." He said, pulling the trigger.

That's it I can't take it anymore. He was about to shoot Brian...

Bang!!!!

There I was, in front of him. "Sophie?" He asked, his voice broken. "It's fine." I said, as I saw blood running down my skin. "One thing I wanna say before I go." I said, coughing. His eyes widened. "I love you." I said and everything was black...

Brian's Pov

"I love you." Said Sophie, falling down, bleeding. My eyes widened. Anger starts to burst, like a pop balloon. "Well, that's too bad." Said Fakyu Mein. "I was just saving her for last." He continued. I can feel it, adrenaline, rushing in, filling me with absolute power. "I'm gonna get you for this." I said, making my hand into a fist. He chuckled. "Whatcha gonna do about it home fries?" He said, pointing the gun to me. I stood up. I smirked devilishly, something new I'm feeling. What is this amazing feeling? He looked shocked. He took a step back, big mistake man. I ran to him like a snake.

He was shocked, very shocked. He stood back trying to get the aim on me. Too late man. I managed to reach him and kicked him in the chin. He flown in the air, dropping his gun on my feet. I took it. He tried to get up. I shot him on his leg. He screamed in pain. "Oops? Should I stop?" I asked. He looked at me, scarred. I smiled, devilishly. I shot him on his other leg. "Ahhhrkkk." He screamed. Man! It felt good! I shot him at his arm and the other one too, leaving him no choice but lay down in pain.

"Please, stop!" He begged. I went to him. "Too late." I said. I kicked his face like a football. I looked down, scared. I ran to Sophie, who is now unconscious. I felt her pulse. It was still beating and her hand felt cold. Blood running on her waist. I ripped the sleeve of my tuxedo and wrapped the wound part...
