Chapter Ten: Blood...(Part One)

One Week Later

Sophie's Pov

I woke up to the sound of the alarm. I took my shower and wore my favourite dress. I went to the roof as I usually do in the morning whether it's school day or not. I sat down, sighed and breathing the fresh air of the morning. The time when nature is at its freshest. Heh.

I looked at the streets, watching the cars past by. I looked to my right. I saw Brian sitting down, hugging his legs. He looked like he was thinking. He looked at me. He straight away got up and walked back to his room.

"Huh?" I said to myself. "That's odd." I looked at him in confusion. No matter I'll talk about it when walking to school. I head back inside and went downstairs to eat breakfast. I can like tell him what's going on but I don't because his mother was there and I think it's inappropriate to ask him now. Don't worry I still got the time to ask him.

Then suddenly my phone vibrate. I took it out and it turns out it was my BF. I wanted to read it but it was being interrupted by Brian's Mother. "So, how are you?" She asked. "Good." I replied. She gave me a wide smile. I looked at Brian. His face looked like he was thinking. It's like a big problem gutted him and like he is in a dilemma. First time I saw him like this.

We had breakfast and head to school. It was silent. Me and Brian, walking to school. I wonder what is in his mind? Kinda worried because he is silent and he always talk to me when walking to school. "So.." I said, starting the conversation. He jumped a little in shock. "Thibking of something?" I asked nervously. He looked down. He was still silent. "Brian, you ok?" I asked. He didn't answer. He looked at me and he smiled. "Everything's ok. Why?" He asked. Smiling. "Oh nothing, it's just that like, you're silent and like not in your usual mood." I said. "Oh that? I was just thinking about homework." He replied. What? Homework? Yeah right. I'm sure his face looked all sour just because of homework. He is hiding something. Im sure if it.

"Oh, that's a relief." I lied. He looked at me and chuckled. Not long after that, it was silent, again. Not long we reached school. From there I leave Brian and decided to go to class.

I sat down, all waiting for class to start. Then I remembered, I got a text message from John. I wonder what he wanted. I took out my phone and check the message.

It said:

"Hey, wanna go on a date?"

I was shocked and at the same time screaming inside. "Oh my gosh!" I quietly screamed. My BF is asking me out on a date, for the first time?! I feel like want to explode. But I tried to stay calm. I replied a Yes and saw the teacher walked in. I turned off my phone and put it in my pocket. Then the class starts.

Time Skipped To Recess

Heh, funny. Time sure was fast if you're not focusing. I couldn't even focus on what the teacher was teaching. Too busy thinking on what to do and what to wear.

I walked out of the class. From there, I saw John. I waved at him. "Hey, whats up?" I asked. In a flirty tone. What? Sometimes in a relationship, the girl usually flirts. Or was it boys. Meh, I don't know. Whatever it is, the flirting must be in it. "Hi Sugarlips. Come let's go." I nodded. Then we walked, holding hands.

We finally reached there. We ordered the usual. Then we sat down on the chair. "So, how will be our date be?" I asked. He looked at me smiling. I blushed. He is always so cute when he smiled. "Well, it will be at Town Center. It will be in a very fancy restaurant." He said. I was shocked and at the same time very excited. "Ooooo, a fancy restaurant. But you don't have to." I said. He doesn't have to do it. I don't want his money, I want him because of his personality. "No, I insist. Besides, it's the least I can do for a girl as pretty as you." He said. I blushed while looking down. "Oh you." I said as I punched his arm. He and his words. So sweet. It's one of the reasons why I love him. He laughed.

"Well it's set, on a date. But what time?" I asked. He looked at the sky, thinking. "At seven." He replied. I nodded. Then we ate our food and then I got up and washing my hands. While I was washing, I saw a bunch of men, walking to John. He shook their hand and said something that made them laughed. I felt a feeling and it's not a good feeling. Don't know why, they looked like they are friends. But why? Why I felt like they are talking about me? I don't like it. Not one bit. They walked away, leaving John alone. I walked to him. "Who was those men?" I asked.

"It's my father's bodyguard." He said. "Oh yeah, I forgot you have those." I said. John is a rich boy, and he told me that he has those bodyguards. They looked like the kind of people that you don't want to mess with. But still, even though, it was his bodyguards. Why do I have a bad feeling that he will betray me? Nah, I'm just thinking too much. Stupid me. Why would my boyfriend betray me. Stupid me....

Time Skipped To Back Home

I went back home, with Brian. Again it was silent. What's wrong with him? Breakup? I don't know.

I walked upstairs, heading to my room. I lay in my bed. I'm excited for my date and at the same time so sleepy. "I guess I should take a nap." I said as I yawn. "Before, I fell asleep on my date." I took my pillow and put it under my head and started to fall asleep....

Brian's Pov

I was back home. Ugh! I can't even focus on class as I was too busy thinking about the devious smile. And what's​ more worse is that Sophie was worried about me. If I don't behave like my normal self in front of her, I'm guessing that she will catch up on what is really going on with me. Jealous of her and John. Still, I don't know why that I should feel happy for her. She is happy and, shouldn't you too? Stupid me. Lucky that is just a little jealous. If not, don't even know what'll I do.....
