44: We Will Be Back

Quick Question: What did you think of their new zip linning challenge video?

Lynn's P.O.V. 

We all get into the Jeep and make our way to the beach. 

"Anyone want anything to eat?" Ethan asks. 

There is a chorus of yes's and Ethan makes his way to In-and-Out Burger. 

"Is this okay," he asks. Again, there are nothing but yes's so Ethan parks. We all get out and go inside. 

"Are we taking it to go?" Monica asks. 

"Yeah, we can," Ethan says. We all order and the lady taking our order look directly at Grayson, gives him a small wink, and says, "That will be $24.67." She gives him a small smile. 

I push through Monica and Ethan and stand by Grayson. She gives me a small glance and looks at Grayson again. Grayson gives her the money and the recipe prints. She grabs the recipe and writes something on it and hands it to Grayson. 

"Just more numbers. But not money," she says and she winks. I take the recipe from Grayson's hand and see that she wrote her number. 

"Listen here, bitch. He doesn't need these extra numbers because he already has one that matters," I say ripping up the recipe, "Certainly not some crusty ass bitch that works at a fast food place so how bow you go try to get into a single man's pants. Thanks," I say with a smile.  grab Grayson's hand and walk away, waiting for our food. 

Grayson lets out a laugh and looks at me. He starts laughing again. "This is why," he says, leaning in and kissing me quickly. 

"Why what?" I say, smiling. 

"Just why," he says. He pulls back and looks at me, smiling just like me.

We arrive at the beach with our food gone. We changed into our bikini's in the car and they changed into their trunks. They put a shirt back on and their slides.

I plan to tan because I have a tan line I need to get rid of. Monica says she needs to tan too. Monica and I hop out of the car and grab our bags. Ethan and Grayson stay in the car with the car still running. 

"Come on, Graaaayy," I say, "You too, E."

"We will be back in a little. A half hour or so. We got to do something," Ethan says. They wave and pull out (😏). 

"Get us good spots on the beach, though. Love you!" Grayson says to me and he drives away. 

Monica finds a really good spot away from everyone and we lay our towels down. We lay on top of out towels on our stomach. 

I unclip my bikini top so I don't have a weird tan line and lay there. I start thinking about tonight. Grayson never said what kind of date. I don't know if I am supposed to dress fancy or casual. He never said. I can't ask him that either. I could just go in between. 

I wonder where he is going to be taking me. We never got to finish our drive in movie from before. His mom called and said she had good and bad news. The bad news being about my mom and the good news? I can't seem to remember. Taking a trip somewhere? Yes, that is it. But where was it to? Paris? Rome? Where was it?

Hawaii! That's where. I wonder what happened to that. I'll have to ask Grayson and Ethan. After a while, Monica gets bored and she goes to the water. I look at the time and realize that it has been an hour since we got here. They said the would be here by now. I clip my bikini and call Grayson. 

He answers almost right away, "Hey!" Grayson seems happy and you can hear it in his voice. 

"Hey, where are you? You said that you weren't going to be gone that long and you have been gone for like an hour," I say.

"We are looking for you. Sorry. It took longer that we thought," he says. 

"What took longer?" I ask. 

"Ahh, nothing. Where are you guys at anyway?" he asks, changing the subject. 

I look around and see them, "Look to your right," I say and I wave my arms. 

"Oh, I see you. Love you. See you in a sec," he says and hangs up.

I put my phone down and walk over to him. "Hard to see me in a sec when you could already see me," I say, hugging his chest. He hugs me back and kisses the top of my head. 

"How do you tan so fast?" he asks me. 

"I'm not that tan," I say. 

"Okaaaayy," he says. 

He sets his stuff down by our towels and grabs my hand. He walks to the water, but not in. 

"I love you, you know that right?" he says. 

"Of course. I love you too," I say. He smiles at me and bends down. He picks me up and runs into the water with me in his arms. 

"Graysooonn!" I yell. I can feel him laughing as he throws me into the water. He dives after me and laughs harder. I laugh too as he pulls me closer to his and kisses me. The kiss lingers and he pulls me close. 

My heart feels warm and my body is numb. I feel so close and so in love with Grayson in this moment, right now, I know that I love him with everything I have.
