Lynn, Grayson, and Ethan have all been best friends since they were babies back in New Jersey. Nothing changed after the twins and Lynn moved to California. Things start to change two years later as Lynn gets more curves and Grayson can't help...
I am quiet for a second and then I rephrase, "Maybe I can get Lisa or Monica. I think Monica would love it. Who is going to be the Best Man?" I ask.
"Ethan," he says. We are quiet for a second and then he speaks up, "Sorry."
I chuckle awkwardly, "You didn't do anything to be sorry for."
"Still--I miss her too," he says.
"I just forget sometimes. It still feels like she is here. Almost like they didn't die. I miss my mom and my brother and sometimes I just forget. It is fine," I say.
"Are you sure?" he asks.
"Yeah. I just forget sometimes. I am okay," I say. Grayson rubs my shoulder.
"So what would I wear?" Grayson asks.
"I don't want the wedding to be super fancy and stuff like that. I still think you should wear a suit, though. Maybe just the dress shirt, dress pants, and a tie. Something like that. I don't know," I say.
"I love it," he says.
"Wait, really? I was just trying to make suggestions," I say.
"Yeah, I love that," he says.
"Okay," I say, "We have time to plan. We don't have to get it all done now. We have time."
"That we do," he says as he leaves a kiss on my head.
"Oh, and I have something to tell you!" I say.
"Me too. What do you have to tell me?" he asks.
"When you told me to get your swimming trunks yesterday, I saw the ring. You literally put it in the drawer that you told me to look in," I say.
"I figured. I realized that when I went to grab the box last night," he says.
"You aren't mad?" I say.
"No one to be mad at but myself and I am too happy for that right now," he says.
"What did you have to tell me?" I ask.
"Remember how you asked about the Hawaii trip my mom promised you, me, and Ethan?" he asks.
"Yeah," I say.
"Well, the first time we went to the beach and I got the call from my mom, I had asked her about marrying you. She then came up with a plan for the trip. I just had to plan everything. Then everything happened with Kyce and that stupid shit. Anyway, I asked my mom about marrying you. She said yes. She said that the Hawaii trip could be our honeymoon. What do you think?"
"Obviously yes!" I say

We walk into Grayson's apartment and set our stuff down. It looks like Ethan moved all of his stuff out. He might be moved in with Monica now. I set my dress on the table with my heels.
"I think Ethan moves his crap out," Grayson says.
"I was thinking the same thing," I say.
"It is about time," he says.
I laugh, "Hey! He is your brother."
"I know. That is why I can say that" he says laughing, "Are your legs feeling better?"
"Yeah," I say, "Let's go. I want to talk to Monica and Ethan."
"You just want to show Monica the ring," he says.
"You right," I say. We laugh and head over.
Hours later after we went to Monica's and Ethan's place, me and Grayson left and went to OUR place. I am surrounded by love and family. Hard things have come and went and things will continue to happen--bad and good.
I can't wait for these things but right now, I have a wedding to plan.
