The only updates I would get were from their tweets and most of the time it wasn’t even him, but his band members. The despair I would feel sometimes would consume me until the only thing I had left was to cry. Even though I could ring him any time or text him I still felt as if he was so far away from me. It was true, he was in Paris right now; he was living his dream while I laid on my bed waiting for him to dream about me.

He hasn’t told me when exactly they were coming back. I tried not to get on twitter as much so I wouldn’t miss him. So, when my doorbell rung I was shocked. I wasn’t expecting company, but I assumed it was only the mailman or something. Quickly I only tied my hair up and checked if I looked semi-presentable. On my way towards the door I put my tea mug down on the near-by island counter. Exhaling I opened the door only to hitch it back again.

He was finally home. After so long, after so much time, he was back home.

“Hello, Amanda. I’m back.” That was the only thing he needed to say so I could finally let the tears of happiness out. He let go of his bags and hugged me tightly. I will never get used to his hugs, I will never get used to him leaving me, I will never get used to his fame, but I could get used to this feeling. This feeling that only he could bring me; the feeling of happiness and utter joy. He was my Jordi, the only person that could ever make me happy. He was home and now I was complete.

That afternoon we stayed up late talking; we had so much to catch up to. Every so often we would just stare at each other, his perfect blue eyes would melt into mine and it would feel as if the world had stopped moving. We made several cups tea to keep us warm even though we didn’t really need them because each other was good enough to keep us tidy, but we still did it anyways. He told me about his trip and how he enjoyed it so much. I could feel the excitement in his words. This is what he wanted to do, this was his dream and that made me happy. After, he told me his whole experience he wrapped an arm around me.

“Amanda, thank you.” He whispered into my ear, but I was confused. He didn’t need to thank me for anything.

“For what?” I asked.

“For being there for me. For believing in us and for always waiting for me when I come back home. I swear that you’re always on my mind.” His soft voice made my back shiver. I tried so hard not to let the tears fall, but I couldn’t.

I turned to him and smiled, “I would do anything for you.”

He was my world, how could I not do anything for him? We went back to our comfortable cuddle and he started telling me of all the cool places he visited. I could only imagine the places for right now, but he promised me once Overload was bigger he would take me there. I didn’t want him to worry about me so much, but he insisted he said I was his heart and that he always had to have his heart with him.
