Many, many years ago, the King and Queen of Avarice and Iracundia committed a terrible sin. This not only could have put the lives of their citizens in danger but all the realms as well. This sin was born from a forbidden love. A love so sacred that if ever committed could cost the lives of everyone. From this forbidden love, a child was born. This child had the power of creation and destruction.
After the child was born, an oracle forswore the child's future. That's when the prophecy was foretold, a prophecy that not only changed the lives of everyone in the kingdom but for the child as well. It was a threat to the world and they wanted to get rid of it. But the mother of the child stepped in to stop the rulers. When all hope seemed lost, the oracle called forth the rulers of the realms
Together they came up with a solution. To seal the powers within the child, so they could grow up in peace... That may have been the best strategy at the time... but they had forgotten one thing... The darkness was much stronger than the light...

The sliver white-haired girl sat on the swing watching all the other children play without her. It wasn't that they didn't want her to join them; it was because they were terrified of her. They were having a snowball fight and they looked so happy.
"Let's give her a taste of her own medicine." One of the boys told as he and his friends watched her. They slowly came up from behind her and pushed her off the swing.
Her knees and hands were bruised from the stones hidden in the snow. The cuts began to bleed and when she was about to stand up. The boys had kicked her on the face which sent her flying back a few steps away.
This was a daily routine for her. A daily routine of pain. She would have grown accustomed to it by now but she always wondered why they would hate her so much, why they were so scared of her.
"Please stay away from me... I don't want to hurt you..." she whimpered from the pain and for what was going to follow next. She never wanted to hurt anyone. As they continued to hit her with blows, they taunted her with many insults. The cuts and bruises were now healing; the boys noticed that and stepped away.
"You're a monster" One of the boys whispered.
"Run away now, before it's too late." She warned them but it was too late. The darkness inside her had awakened and surrounded her. It whipped around and grabbed the boys one by one. Tears fell from her eyes.
Once again the life from the boy's eyes was drained and within seconds, their bodies turned to black ash. The air around her was filled with a miasma, the stench... the smell of death.
"Don't cry little one." The darkness took a form in front of her and she cried even more. With shadowy hands, it touched her face, wiping the tears away. But the tears turned to black ash.
Her darkness just stared at the little girl and then receded back into her. She collapsed on the snow, and with a broken heart, she cried and cried till her mind became numb and until she went cold. All she wanted was to love and to be loved. But that was something a child of darkness could never get. But she could dream, that maybe one day she could be saved.
