 "Do you like my sister?"

A little girl's voice said.

"Maybe?"

A gasp

"You're engaged to her, so you're supposed to like her."

With another shuffle and a gasp, groaning I covered my eyes from the brightness of the light.

"So much noise" I mumbled as I grabbed the sheet to cover my head.

"See I told you, you're going to wake her up." A half-whisper, half yell.

"I'm not the one that's next to her. Just give it a few more seconds and you'll be kicked out of the bed."

I heard a snicker from that person and I was a bit annoyed now. There was someone next to me that was taking more space in the bed. I was comfortable and tired and so I shoved my hand upwards to push that person out of the bed.

Instead of my hand pushing him off the bed, it landed on a hard set of abs... Wait... abs... Did I feel that right?

Grumbling I lifted my head above the sheet to find that my hand was indeed touching a hard set of abs and when I looked up at the person only to see Dante staring down at me with a smirk.

I quickly jumped away, my hand burned from touching his skin. Once I jumped away, I took that as my opportunity to kick him out of bed. I stood on the bed glaring at him as he fell to the ground.

I then heard giggling.

"I told you so," Aremiah said as a matter of fact.

I smiled as I saw her and lifted my hands for her. With glee, she jumped onto the bed, running into my arms.

"So how's my little princess?" I asked as I then took a closer look at her. She was dressed in a little black dress and her hair was pinned up by the phoenix hairpin.

"She's very very sad." She said as her smile turned to a frown she turned to Dante with a glare and then buried her face in my stomach.

"What did you do to my sister!?" I said summoning a sword and pointing it at him. Dante lifted his brow at me and lifted his hands.

"I would also like to know what I did." He said as he crossed his legs and he made himself comfortable on the floor. Aremiah sniffled and I then bent down to her level. I dematerialized my sword and put both my hands on her shoulder.

"Tell me what's wrong and I will make sure he pays for what he's done. I will make sure he's hurt. So what's the matter little one?" I gently removed her hands from her eyes as I noticed her tears falling ignoring the smirk on Dante's face.

"Don't leave me again!" She cried out as she jumped onto me. I hugged her as she cried and gently soothed her.

"I'm not going to leave-"

"Yes, you are!" She jumped away pointing her fingers at Dante.

"You're going to get married to him and he's going to take you away! You're going to... you're going to leave me again!" She cried even more as I gently gathered her in my eyes as she held onto me as if her life depended on it.

I glanced at Dante and when I made eye contact with him, he looked away. Firstly I was angry at him. Secondly, I was angry at the king, and thirdly, why the bloody hell would I get married to Dante.

But I had to calm myself down for the little child that's bawling her eyes out.

"It's going to be alright little one," I said reassuring her. After a while, she had finally fallen asleep in my arms. So I put her next to me in the middle of the bed.
