You Don't Know Me (Teen Wolf/ Spider-Man)

Part 15

I heard the gun go off but I didn't feel anything. Maybe he missed. I open my eyes and to my surprise I see Koda's body laying on the ground with a bullet hole in his back.
"Oh my god I think I'm going to be sick." I see all the blood seep out of his back, it was on of the most disturbing things I have ever seen.
As I'm trying to catch my breath I look up and see Charlie holding a gun. She can't stop shaking.
"Charlie, did you just-" I couldn't believe it, she just saved me.
"I couldn't, I couldn't let him kill you." She sobbed.
"You just saved my life, thank you."
She bends down and untied the rope. As soon as my wrists are free I look down and see rope burn, the ropes were extremely tight.
"Quick we better go before it heals and he wakes up." Charlie said helping me up.
"Charlie why? Why did you set me up?" I said standing up.
"There's not enough time to talk about it, come on we have to go." She said tugging on my sleeve.
"I'm not going anywhere until you tell me why." I said crossing my arms. I know I should probably be running far from Koda and probably Charlie as well, but she said before she didn't want to do this and she did just shoot him in the back to save me.
"Oh my god, fine. We can walk and talk how about that?" Charlie rolled her eyes as she was getting frustrated with me.
"Deal."

After a couple of minutes walking in silence I decided to speak up. "So..?"
She let out a huge sigh. "It's kind of a long story." She said hoping I would let it go.
"We have a long walk ahead." I wasn't letting this go, I needed to know why she did what she did.
"Fine. When I first shifted I didn't know what was happening to me, I was so scared. I was alone for quite a while, running from hunters, trying to survive. Until I met Koda, at first I thought he was the nicest human being ever. He helped me lose the hunters that were tracking me, gave me food, taught me all there is to be a werewolf; he was like my brother you know. Until he started to change, he started to get aggressive and greedy. I wanted to run but I had no where to go. I could of went to my sisters place now that I think about it but back then I was afraid of myself and what I might do to her so I stayed away." I could tell Charlie was getting emotional with all this memories.
"Why didn't you stay with your parents?" I asked.
I saw Charlie's face sadden, maybe I shouldn't of asked that question.
"They were in a car accident, both died instantly."
"I'm sorry, I didn't know." I felt so bad for asking.
"It's okay. Anyway as I was saying I didn't have anywhere to go, so I stayed with Koda. Eventually he got his hands on the dead pool, he spotted your name and immediately wanted you. I didn't want any part of this, I swear, I was about to leave until he threaten to kill my sister if I didn't do what he told me to do. Stiles I couldn't let my sister die, you have to understand. But I guess now it doesn't matter because his going to go after her sooner or later." I saw a tear roll down her face.
I have to figure something out I can't let Charlie's sister die.
"We have to go back then, we can't have Koda roaming around freely." I say running back to where Koda was.
Charlie doesn't say anything, she just follows me.
We both finally make it back to where it all went down but unfortunately there was something missing. "This is not good." I say running my hands through my hair.
Koda was no where to be seen. I have to inform the pack, they can help us track Koda down and lock him away for good before it's too late.
