Jas falls asleep in my arms. I rub her back lightly like I would do with Jamie. God I hope she is okay. Fuck. "So dad huh?" Rapmonster says. I chuckle a little. "Yeah I guess so. She is like my daughter now. We have got a bond like a father daughter." I say and he nods. "You make a good father though Kookie or should I say dad." He says and then smiles and gets up to talk to everyone else. "Mhmm." Jasmine starts to whine. She clings to my shirt. I hold her close to me. "No please." She whimpers out. She shoots up.  And looks around. "It's just me it's okay." I say to her and then I take her hair tie and tie her hair up. She looks at me. "Any news yet?" Jasmine asks. "No not yet." I say to her she looks down. "Hey baby girl don't be sad." I say not meaning it. She looks down. I tilt her head up. "Don't be sad girl. Smile. She will get through this." I say trying to he positive not just for her but, for me as well. "Dad I can't lose her." She says. I nod. "I know we can't either everything will be okay." I say and she nods. She puts her head on my chest. She curls up more. And I start to sing to her. Whatever comes to mine. "Spring day?" She asks me. I nod and start to sing that song to her. I hear doors open and then a door closes. I look up and Jamie does as well. Everyone does. "Who is here for Jamie Handt?" The nurse asks. Jasmine stands up and I do as well. Everyone does.  "Well?" I ask taking Jasmines hand. I look at her.  "Good news and bad news." She says. "Good news is that Jamie is pregnant, bad news is...." The nurse says. My mouth drops open. She is pregnant. "The baby might not have a full chance of living because Jamie's body isn't the best to hold the baby. There is a 50% of the baby not surviving. The reason why Jamie passed out is because she isn't getting enough fluid in her body. So you need to make sure she drinks 8 glasses of water a day." The nurse says. "The baby has a 50% chance of living?" I ask and then wait when did we do it that she is pregnant? Like we used protection. "How long is the baby?" I ask and she looks at me. "The baby is 6 weeks soon the bump will form." The nurse says. Fuck when we did it the 3 time. The condom broke? No way! I am going to be a dad! Fuck! Am I ready?

"Can we see her?" Jasmine asks. The nurse smiles. "Yes of course." She says. Everyone walks. They all look at me. I don't speak I don't say a word. "Does she know?" I ask. "Yes she knows." The nurse says and opens the door to be Jamie looking toward everyone.  I enter last. They all say hi and everything.  I just stand back. I am going to a father possibly. Am I ready for a baby? I can't be. I mean I love her and would never leave her. We can support the baby. I just don't know if I will be a good father.  I mean Jas likes me. I mean she calls me dad already. "Is Kookie here?" Jamie asks they boys step aside and I come forward to meet her. "Kookie." She says and breaks into tears I hug her tight.  Holding her body close to mine. "I know." I say to her. Jasmine climbs up onto the bed beside Jamie. "I am pregnant.  It has a 50%chance of being born." Jamie whimpers out. "I know but, it will be healthy because I will make sure of it." I say and she breaks the hug. "Can we have some privacy for a bit." Jamie asks the boys. They all nod and say goodbye for a bit. I sit on the bed Jasmine does as well. Jamie holds my hand. Jasmine sits next to me. "Are we ready for a kid?" Jamie asks. "I mean I am not sure. I am scared that's for sure. I won't know what to do. I'll be a bad father because I'll be gone most of the time. I don't know if I take care of kids well. I don't like it." I say and look down. Jasmine lifts my head up to look at Jamie. "You as a good. At taking care of me dad." Jasmine says.  Jamie looks at her. "Dad?" She asks and I nod. "That is so cute." Jamie says. "Like daddy you are really good. You care for me. You help me learn Korean. You sing for me. I think you could take care of a baby." Jasmine says I smile. "Thank you pumpkin." I say. Jasmine touches Jamie's stomach lightly. "I am going to have a brother or sister." Jasmine says and touches it lightly. "Yeah you will." Jamie says and looks at me. "With the best parent ever." Jamie says to me. I smile. I am going to be a dad. I put my head to her stomach lightly.  "Grow properly baby." I say and kiss her stomach. She plays with my hair. Jasmine holds my hand as we sit there enjoying the company. "Jas have you met anyone at school yet?" Jamie asks.  My head on her chest breathing in her sent. "Umm yeah his name is TaeYeon but, he goes by Tae more. He speaks a little English than everyone." Jasmine says. I smile. Drawing small things on her stomach 6 weeks it's been in her. "What do you want a boy or a girl?" Jasmine asks. I look at Jamie. "I am not sure.  Maybe a baby girl or a boy. I'll be happy either way." Jamie says. I smile. "I don't mind either. If we have a girl she will look like Jamie and if we have a boy it will have Jamie's beautiful personality and her smile, with her eyes." I start to say. I lean in and kiss her lightly.  "You gave me a scare baby." I say to her breaking the kiss. "I am sorry." She says and kisses my nose. Jasmine sits there. "Come here Jasmine." Jamie says. She comes closer to us. We cuddles next to Jamie. This is what family is. This is what love looks like.  A big happy family.
