We arrive to our new home, and it's amazing. I get out of my wheelchair, because I've been sitting down for a while. "This place is amazing!", I say. "I know!", Sean says, and gives me a hug. He kisses me on the cheek, and I return one to him.
We go exploring, and there's stairs. Apparently this is a three story house with a basement. Great. "I'll just try to hobble up there.", I say. We decide to make good use of the rooms. Besides the main rooms, like our bedrooms and bathrooms, we're finding uses for the rooms. We're having a playroom, music room, library, and even a gaming room. This place is going to be awesome.
At dinner, Sean and I eat, but not Christian. "Christian! It's your favorite! Chicken nuggets and French fries!", I say. "I'm not hungry.", Kyle says. "Not hungry! You're usually the one eating all of my food!", Jackson says. "I'm just not hungry.", Christian says. "You didn't eat lunch or breakfast either. At least take a bite?", I suggest. "No thanks!", Christian says. "He's probably homesick.", Sean suggests. "Probably.", I say.
That evening, I come and sit on the end of Christian's bed. "What do you think of the new house? It even has a pool!", I say, trying to get Christian out of his homesickness. "I love it!", Christian exclaims. So, I guess he isn't homesick. I put my hand on Christian's head, and his head is very hot. "You have a fever!", I say. That explains why he wasn't eating.
After I'm ready for bed, I lay in bed. Then, Sean comes and sits on my bed. "I know why Christian wasn't eating.", I say. "Why?", Sean asks. "He has a fever. He's probably sick.", I say. "So, how do you like the house?", Sean asks. "I love it! It's just that it's a pain to get up here!", I say. "I know.", Sean says. "Hey, tomorrow I'm going to call the hospital and ask if I can do physical therapy.", I say. "That sounds awesome, except tomorrow is Sunday. I don't know if they'll be open.", Sean says. "Good point!", I say. "Goodnight beautiful! I love you!", Sean says. "Love you too!", I say. Sean turns the lights off and closes the door. I get my phone out to text Lauren.
(A-Anna, K-Kim)
A- Hey Kim!
K- Hey Anna! I miss you so much! I don't have anyone to sit with a lunch. 😢
A- I miss you too! I'm sure you'll find someone to sit with. I have to go! I'm exhausted! But, I miss you!
I put my phone on the night stand, and plug it in. I fall asleep almost instantly.
