A Fresh Start

I wake up the next morning, and begin to get ready. I put on my Panic! At The Disco shirt, jeans, and converse. I take my meds, and put on my brace. I'm still not using my wheelchair. I don't need it.

I go to the kitchen where Sean is, and there's already breakfast waiting for me. "Good morning, beautiful!", Sean says. "Good morning! Where's Christian?", I say. "In his room, asleep. He's not feeling good. The nurse is in there, giving him meds.", Sean tells me. As soon as we're finished eating, we grab our bags, and head to school.

In science, we're being assigned partners for a big project. Mrs. Baker lists a bunch of people, and there's only four people left, including Sean and I. "Alright, Sean, your partner is Marissa, and Anna, your partner is Adam. You will have the next few days to complete your project. You will be covering things you have learned this year. You will have plenty of time in class to do this, and you shouldn't have to do this for homework. It's due on Friday.", Mrs. Baker says. Adam and I get a good amount of work done, but I notice that Sean is flirting with Marissa most of the time.

At lunch, I talk to Sean about Marissa. "So, Marissa is really pretty.", I say. "Where are you going with this?", Sean asks, and sighs. "You like her, don't you?", I ask. "Anna, why would I like her when I love you?", Sean asks. "I don't know.", I say. "Hey, we don't have school tomorrow.", Sean says.

That afternoon, I go into Christian's room, and he's reading some of my magazines that feature Panic! At The Disco. "Where did you get these?", I ask. "I got them from the box of books.", he says. I guess he just wanted to read something new.

That evening, Sean comes and sits on the end of my bed. "Hey!", I say. "Hey.", he tells me. "So why are we getting out of school?", I ask. "Because we're supposed to get bad weather tomorrow.", Sean says. "Goodnight. I love you!", I say. "I love you too.", Sean says, turns off the lights, and shuts the door. I fall asleep almost immediately
