A Fresh Start

Kidnapped

(Two weeks later)

(Sean's P.O.V.)

I wake up in someone's basement. I'm not sure who's though. I begin to look around. I see Anna, who is still asleep, but not Christian. I finally realize what's happening. We've been kidnapped again. Great. I go over and sit by Anna.

About fifteen minutes later, Anna wakes up. "Anna what do you want?", she asks. "I didn't say anything.", I tell her. "What do you want from me?", she asks. "What do you mean?", I ask her. "You know exactly what I'm talking about. Just leave me alone! You're causing too much stress! It's bad enough with Christian in the hospital, and here we are kidnapped once again. To top things off, you cheated on me. So, leave me alone.", she says. "Anna, I love you!", I say. "Then prove it!", Anna says. "I will!", I promise. I guess it doesn't matter how much I apologize. She can't find it in her heart to forgive me.

Her stepmother comes downstairs with Jim. She even has to plates of food. "Why hello! I decided to make your stay enjoyable. I figured I would do so, seeing as this will be your last stay.", she says. "Really? This is the last time your going to kidnap us?", Anna asks, excited. "No, silly. It's going to be really hard kidnapping someone who's dead, isn't it?", Anna's stepmom says. Anna and I both gasp at the same time.

A few hours later, Anna's stepmom comes back downstairs. "Anna, would you mind going out to the shed out back? I need a hose. Also, Sean come outside with us.", her stepmom says. We go to the wood shed, and Anna enters the wood shed. Her stepmom does something surprising, though. She closes the door, and locks it. Then, she grabs a match and a cigarette lighter. She lights the match, and lights the wood shed. Now, it's my decision to save her. Do I go or leave? She told me to leave her alone. I don't know. I decide to do what she requested. My final decision is to leave.
