I wake up in the hospital, except this time I'm not in the ICU. I look over, and see Caleb asleep in Sean's lap. I'm really glad that he's with us.
"Hey! Caleb! Wake up!", Sean says.
Caleb wakes up, but lets out a groan, because he hates being woken up.
"Hey, Anna! How are you feeling?", Sean asks.
"I'm in a lot of pain. But other than that, I guess you could say that I'm okay.", I say.
About five minutes later, the doctor comes in.
"Anna, we have some news for you. Do you remember before how you were always put on pain medicine and given a wheelchair or crutches for your leg?", the doctor asks.
"Yes...", I say.
"Well, you never needed it. In fact, it only made your leg much worse. I'm going to put you on crutches and pain medicine for now, because you truly do need it. I don't want you to use your wheelchair anymore. I'm going to go ahead and release you.", the doctor says.
"We don't have a way to get back home.", Sean explains.
"Yes you do. I'm giving you these three plane tickets, because I don't need them. I was going to use it for me and a couple of buddies to go to Chicago, but you need it.", the doctor says.
"No, I can't accept it.", I say.
"Please do. I truly don't need it. Our plans got cancelled, due to my daughter's graduation. Please accept it.", the doctor says.
"Well, thank you! How can I repay you?", I ask.
"By not using that wheelchair of yours. Also, the plane leaves at three. It's twelve now, so you might wanna go ahead and get out of here.", the doctor says with a smile.
I sit up, and Sean helps me out of bed. He hands me my crutches, and we're ready for the plane.
When we finally arrive back at home, Sean helps me to the couch, so I can get some rest. It's been a long and tiring day. I decide to make the best of the situation, and take a nap.
That evening, I get in bed, and Sean comes and sits on the end of my bed, as usual.
"Caleb!", I yell.
Caleb comes in, and stands in the doorway.
"Come sit down on my lap.", Sean says.
Caleb sits down on his lap, and I'm pretty concerned, because I have no idea about what happened to him while he was gone.
"Did you get food?", I ask.
"A little.", Jacob replies.
"Water?"
"Yes."
"Did she hurt you?"
"Yes. She beat me, cut me, and threw me against the wall."
"If I didn't have to worry about you or Sean, I would hurt her."
"Anna.", Sean says.
"What? I officially don't care anymore. I'm tired of her crap. It's getting old. And the fact that she did this is just uncalled for.", I say.
"Caleb, you can go.", Sean says.
Caleb stops to give me a hug. I absolutely love that kid.
"Night, sis! I love you!", Caleb says.
"Goodnight, Caleb! I love you too!", I say and Caleb goes into the other room.
"I'm really sorry that we had to miss the concert.", I say.
"Don't be. It wasn't your fault. Also, we're going somewhere special tomorrow, because it's Saturday.", Sean says.
I sit up next to Sean.
"Do you want to fall asleep on my lap?", Sean asks.
"Yeah, that would be nice.", I say.
I lay down with my head resting on Sean lap, and he begins to stroke through my hair.
"I love you so much!", I say.
"I love you too!", Sean says.
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight, beautiful!"
