A/N:
Didn't write again yesterday, sorry! I just had a huge essay to write about economic growth, a lab report about cancer, and a Language Arts assignment. Along with that, there was also the radio show that I had to watch, and I had to clean my room. So yeah, I was kind of really busy yesterday and I didn't have time to write. Actually, I had like two hours towards the end of the day but I wanted to finish the last two episodes of season 2 of Doctor Who. *spoilers* Can I just say that I was in puddle of tears after watching Rose and Eleven split up like that... just no. *spoilers* Anyways, let me stop blabbering and get on with writing. Here's Chapter 4 of It Wasn't Just a Drunken Night!

*Phil's POV*
Dan and I entered the house that was obviously empty due to the fact that we were there an hour before the actual party started. “Happy anniversary guys!” I hugged Chris and PJ, congratulating them on their three-year anniversary. They hugged me back before pushing away and looking at Dan who looked slightly down and uncomfortable. “Speaking of anniversaries,” Chris spoke up happily, “Happy two-year anniversary to you and Jenna, Dan.”
Crap. We never had the time to tell Chris and PJ about Dan’s break up. “Yeah, about that,” Dan mumbled while looking down at his feet, “She kind of broke up with me.” Chris and PJ’s eyes widened in shock before they gestured towards their kitchen counter. “Dude, what happened?” PJ began to make us all cups of tea while we sat at around the counter.
“Well, we were having our anniversary date yesterday,” Dan admitted since he was comfortable with telling anything to Chris and PJ, “And I bought her this really expensive meal. But, she was acting really odd, and after we finished our meals she kind of just got up, admitted she was cheating on me for the past year, and just left me there with the tab.” I noticed how Dan didn’t look as broken as he did last night, he actually looked like he didn’t give two shits about Jenna.
“Aw man, I’m so sorry,” PJ sighed, handing us our cups of tea, “You really didn’t have to come today, you can go home if you want.” Dan just shook his head before taking a sip from his mug and perking up. “No, that’d just be flat out rude. You guys are one of the best people I’ve met and it’d be mean to just miss your anniversary party because of my own relationship drama,” he spoke lightly, “Besides, this whole break up thing really isn’t affecting me as much as I thought it would; Jenna was honestly kind of a spoiled bitchy brat.”
We all laughed and changed the subject from Dan’s break up to something else as we waited for the guests to arrive. Before we knew it, people began to show up at the house, bringing in tons of alcohol along with them. I knew right away that this would be a crazy night, especially if there was alcohol.

It was already 10:00pm and half of the guests were either knocked out in the yard, going nuts on the dance floor in the lounge, or snogging each other’s faces off somewhere else around the house. I was pretty drunk myself but not to the point where I was stumbling over with every step I took.
I spotted Chris sitting on the couch alone with a bottle of beer in his hand as I walked up to him. “Hey Chris!” I shouted over the raging music, “Where’s PJ?” Chris looked up at me and patted for me to sit next to him, sliding over to give me some room. “He’s getting us a drink, I get really thirsty when I drink to much beer,” Chris laughed, holding the bottle of beer up, “He should be back soon.”
I just nodded and leaned back into the sofa, taking a sip of the alcoholic drink I had in my hand. I didn’t know what it was, but I liked the taste of it so I just kept drinking the strong substance. “So, Dan and Jenna broke up,” Chris elbowed me in the arm suggestively, breaking the comfortable silence between us. Chris had known about my love for Dan for a while, he kind of forced it out of me. “Are you going to make a move?” he winked at me causing me to shake me head.
