A/N:
Hello! Sorry for not writing yesterday! I had chorus concert to perform at and I came home pretty late so I didn't really have enough time to write. But, today was a half day at school so I have tons of time to write! Anyways, here's chapter 10 of It Wasn't Just a Drunken Night!

*Phil's POV*
I lied in my bed, smiling uncontrollably like some kind of idiot. But, the funny part was that I was an idiot. I fell for Dan when he was with a girl that he obviously loved. But, the greatest thing was that my idiocy actually ended up leading to Dan and I becoming a couple, and I couldn’t be any happier.
I waited for Dan to come back into the room, to tell that it was just some door-to-door sales man, and for us to get back to our warm embraces. But, that’s not what happened, he didn’t come back. Instead, I heard talking coming from the lounge. Dan’s voice was obviously the standing point of the conversation but I couldn’t help but notice that the voice talking back was unbelievably familiar.
After two minutes of waiting, I heard Dan yell, obviously at the person who was at the door. “YOU WANT TO WHAT‽” I heard him shout, “No fucking way!” Dan sounded rather furious so I decided to see what was going on and what was getting Dan so angry.
I got off the bed and slowly walked out into the lounge. “Dan what’s going on,” I mumbled, “Who’s at the--.” I was cut myself off midsentence, answering my own question once I saw the figure standing in front of Dan. Charlie.
Anger began to flood through me, but not nearly as much as Dan. “What the hell is he doing here,” I tried my hardest to remain calm and restrain from yelling. “Hey Philly! I missed you!” Charlie pushed passed Dan and entered the room without permission. I shook off the urge to take something and throw it at his head while he spoke. “Don’t call me that,” I replied harshly, “I sure as hell didn’t miss you, now what do you want?”
“I see you haven’t moved since I left,” he didn’t answer me, “Could you not stand leaving the last part you had of me.” I only got more furious as I felt my blood flow into my head and my ears turn incredibly hot. “No,” I growled, “This place is cool and I decided to take up on the opportunity of you leaving to get another roommate.” Dan smiled lightly and seemed to calm down when he heard the mention of him.
“I see,” Charlie looked down at the ground but his sadness was obviously faux, as was the rest of him. “Now, what the fuck do you want?” I continued eying him, even though our eye contact was lost by him looking down. “He wants to know if he could stay her for a week or so,” Dan interrupted my glare, pulling his eyes towards his direction. I let out a sarcastic laugh before shaking my head and glaring back at Charlie, “In your dreams.”
“Oh come on!” Charlie looked back into my eyes pleadingly, “Just for a week, I’ve got nowhere else to go. I just need to stay here for a week before my mates come pick me up so we could head off to America; I swear it’ll be like I’m not even here.” I listened to his whining and rolled my eyes in annoyance at his voice. “Why the hell couldn’t you stay at your house and wait for your ‘mates’ to pick you up there?” I questioned him, trying to find any reason for him not to stay here.
“My mum kind of kicked me out of the place right when I said I was leaving to America,” he sighed, “She really couldn’t stand me in that house any longer.” I relaxed a little and began to consider the thought of him staying here. He couldn’t have been that bad, could he?
I looked over at Dan and he seemed to be thinking the same as me because he just lightly nodded his head and looked down at the ground. “Okay, fine,” I huffed, “But, you have to follow our rules,” I pointed towards Dan and me, “Because this isn’t your place anymore.” Charlie hesitated for a second but then nodded reluctantly.
“Great,” I sighed, “I guess you can take my room for the week and I’ll sleep with Dan.” I grabbed Dan’s hand and he squeezed it back with a small smile on his face. Charlie looked at me with an annoyed expression before looking at Dan with an expression I couldn’t read. What was his problem? He couldn’t be mad at me for not wanting him to stay here after what he did.
Charlie dropped his luggage at the side of the door and sighed a breath of relief. “Thank you so much guys,” he grinned cheekily before flopping himself onto our sofa in a rude manor, “So what are you guys doing today?” I shrugged, not actually having a plan today. I wanted to cuddle all day with Dan and have a movie day with him but that idea was obviously ruined by Charlie’s appearance. “Actually I was planning on taking Phil out for a day in town and then somewhere nice for Dinner,” Dan interrupted my thought as I looked at him with a shocked but excited look on my face.
“Is that so?” I giggled, “Where to?” Dan just shook his head with a mischievous look on his face. “You’ll just have to wait and see,” he winked at me and I pouted, trying to look annoyed at him but obviously failing. My pout immediately washed off my lips once Dan’s placed his on mine. “Now let’s go get ready and take your private stuff out of your room so Charlie could settle in and all,” he lifted his lips off of mine, leaving me wanting more. I laughed before pulling Dan by his hand towards my room and leaving Charlie in the lounge. I couldn’t help but notice this look in Charlie’s eyes before we left though; he almost looked jealous.
Yeah, that was chapter 10! Sorry, it was kind of short, I kind of got writer’s block just now so I wasn’t sure how to continue so I just stopped. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed reading! Thank you for 800 reads and be sure to leave your feedback! Thank you <3
