Chapter 4

I woke up with the sun shining in my face. I look over at my alarm clock. 10:13. It was Sunday and I had absolutely nothing to do. I smiled at the thought of just being lazy.

I sit up at look around. At the foot on my bed, a little kitten is curled up in a ball sleeping. I lean over and pet it's soft fur. "Good morning, Ren." I say softly. Ren wasn't just an ordinary cat. He could turn into a Neko whenever he wanted. He was adorable in both forms. As a cat he is small and yellow colored with big blue eyes. When he's in Neko form, he's pretty much the same. He is small with fluffy, blond hair that poofs up in the cutest way when I pat his head, and as for those big blue eyes, they are still there, hypnotizing every time I look at them.

The kitten stirred on the bed then looked up at me. "Mew!" Oh yeah, there's one more thing I forgot to tell you about my cat; I love him and we are sorta kinda dating.

"Get up Ren! We can do whatever you want today, I have no plans." I decide to tell him. I did kind of ignore him yesterday at the party I had. Of course, I already made it up to him that night.... I know what you're thinking and no. Nothing like that happened! We just sorta had a makeout session... that's all!

I walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth. When I come out, sitting on my bed is Ren in his Neko form. He looked so beautiful. His white shirt was half was unbuttoned, he wore no pants, just his cute little boxers, and he was rubbing those adorable little eyes of his. "Good morning Keegan!" He said cheerfully when he saw me. God, does he even know the things he does to me?

I smile at him and run over to the bed. I push him down and crawl beside him. "Sooooooo," I begin, looking over at his smiling face. "What do you want to do today?" He ponders this question for a second but you could see his face lighten up when he found an answer.

"The park!!" He giggles and snuggles up against my bare chest. I thought of the dream I had again. The one that I had the day I got Ren. I wasn't sure what was going on with this dream but almost everything that happened in the dream, happened with Ren and I. Like when he asked if I loved him, when he told me to kiss him, when I crawled on top of him and DID kiss him... all of this happened in that strange dream. And now the only missing piece of the puzzle was swinging on swings at the park. I sighed. What the hell was I doing with my life.

"All right. We will go to the park. But after lunch." I get up and walk to my door. I look behind me and wave for Ren to follow. We walk down the steps and to the kitchen. I tell him to sit at the table while I get him some food.

"Can you surprise me with what I'm getting!?! Pretty pretty PLEEEEASE!?!?" He says way to excitedly from the table. I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes.

"Suuuuuure. Just close your eyes." I say and walk over to the pantry. I take out the cat food and pour it in a bowl. What else did he expect? I take it over to him and set it on the table in front of him. "Open." I say. He opens his eyes with excitement burning in them but it soon fades away when he looks at the bowl of cat food. "What?" I ask him, not knowing where all that excitement could suddenly disappear to.

"I'm a human now, Keegan. I need human food! Not this crap!" He pushed the bowl away and stuck out his tongue. "Blah!"

"What's wrong with it? You ate it as a cat, didn't you?"

"Yeah, when I was a CAT! Now I'm a human so I need human foods to please my human taste buds so I can put it in my human belly!" He says, making huge arm gestures to the cat food. It was so kawaii I seriously couldn't hold back my laugh. He looked up at me curiously. "What?"

"Oh nothing!" I snort. "You're just so cute!!!" I hug him from behind and he purrs. I pull back quickly and put my hands on my hips. "But you're still eating that."
