Lightningpaw's P.O.V

"Well what do you want?" I asked trying to sound brave through the brambles that were wrapped around me."Well we just want one minior thing. We want you to join our group Rock." "Why do you think we would ever do that?!" I exclaimed trying to sound angry. "Because if don't we'll kill you all with delight." He said flexing his long claws. "What's that around you neck?" I asked looking at the red stone around his neck. "Oh this? Look into it and you'll find out what it does." He said. So I looked into it and saw what he had done in the past. This is the cat that had killed my mother all those moons ago. "Snap out of it dear he is trying to control your thoughts and actions!" A voice yowled in my head. "Mom?" I thought. "Yes it was my time dear. I miss you with all my heart, but we will meet again many times. Just do me a favor snap out of the trance." "Ok mother and I miss you too." I snapped out of the trance and my friends gave me a blank look. "I'll explain later." I whispered. "If you won't join then we'll have to kill you all." "Untie them. Lets see how these "warriors" fight." He ordered. "You killed my mother Shadetail. Why?!" "Oh that was your mother. Look I didn't get my name for a reason." He said glaring at me with his reddish amber eyes. "What is your name?" I asked realizing I didn't ever catch his name. "Oh I'll give you a hint. I've killed a lot of cats and I have reddish eyes what do you think?" "Blood?" I asked. "No fool it's Death. Now kill them all!!!"

Rainpaw's P.O.V

We were all shoulder to shoulder looking at our enemies. A ginger tom leapt on top of me. I kicked up like a kit making the tom fly into the air. I turned to see Death was clawing Fern. I leaped over to Fern. Death didn't see me coming so I slid under his stomach and clawed his underbelly. Lightningpaw was fighting off a tortoiseshell she-cat. Lightningpaw looked over and grinned. She must have thought she made the she-cat flee but then the she-cat clawed her throat. "No!!!!!" I mewed in alarm. She staggered and collapsed to the ground. I raced over to claw that fox hearted she-cat. The she-cat saw me and tried to claw my face but I dodged her blow and clawed his face down to his leg. The cat limped away. Thats when I saw Death biting Lightningpaw's neck. I charged Death and barely clawed him in the leg but he counterattacked me by clawing my leg. I yelped and bit his ear and clawed his face. "Agh." I looked over and saw that I had clawed his face above his eyes. He stumbled back and fell into a hole. "Grr you win this time Rain but watch your back your going to need to." He said disappearing into the sshadow of the tunnel. I raced over to Loghtningpaw's motionless body and gripped it in my jaws. "We have to explain what happened to her clan and hopefully make it out alive." I mumbled through her bloody fur. "Lets treat her wounds first so the bleeding stops. We don't want her to lose a lot of blood." Fire said. "Ok treat her wounds you guys I'll find more herbs." I said. I heard a scratching sound coming from around the corner. "Hiss!!!" A white she-cat pounced on me.

"Hey get off me! I need to find her herbs for my friend she may die if I don't." I pleaded. "Fine only if you describe what the wounded cat looks like." She was cute but her attitude was really sassy. "She is a black she-cat with a golden stripe down her back she also had amber eyes." I finished. "My sister has been found! Thank Starclan; what is your name?" She asked. "Rain my name is Rain. My friends and I were being lead by her to Thunderclan territory but we were trapped in this group Rock attacked us." I replied. "Lead me to her Windclan has been missing her for 2 moons. Others think she's dead and our father doesn't want to lose his kit after lost his mate and my mother Shadetail." she explained. "Who are you? I mean you explained that Lightningpaw is your sister but who are you?" I asked. "My name is Snowpaw apprentice of Windclan." She said to me leaping off following my scent trail back to her sister.
