Rainpaw's P.O.V

I walked back to the border to meet with Lightningpaw again. I hope she didn't forget, I thought. "Are you sure she's coming Rain we don't want trouble with Death again." Fern said making me lose my train of thought. "Yea ok Fern you don't have to remind me." I replied back. My little sister had been killed by that murderous tom when she was 4 moons old. I still miss her.

"She's on her way she'll be here any minute." I replied to the group. I smelled the air taking in the smell of mice, rabbits, other cats, and...........a dog? Lightningpaw is in trouble we have to help her! But how?

Lightningpaw's P.O.V

I was running past the entrance of camp because I had almost forgotten about Rain and his friends. I was also running because I was being chased by a HUGE dog. When I say huge I mean huge it looked like it was 30 ft tall! This was just like old times with Shadetail. When I thought about her I started to run even faster. The dog lost interest and went for a rabbit instead. I slowed down my pace when I got to the border. Rain came with his friends but something looked wrong but I couldn't tell what it was so I let it go. "Ready when you are Lightningpaw." Rain replied. "Ok lets go." We set off towards the tunnels and found ourselves crouching. I signaled to them that there was a dog near us. Rain understood and we kept "crawling" across the rough ground. We were about to enter the tunnels and we may not make it out alive. Rain and his friends followed me until we found the entrance being gaurded by a fox. We looked at each looking for someone to do something when I had a crazy idea. "Lets attack it one at a time then we'll surround it until we can get into the tunnels." I said looking at their shocked faces.

"One,Two........" I was cut off when Rain yowled "Three!" we attacked one by one. I attacked last because I was the fastest of the bunch. When I attacked I looked around for the others and I saw Rain being bitten by the fox on the neck I didn't know what to do. I could watch him die or go in and help but I was frozen in fear. I got the courage when I heard Snowtuft whisper in my ear. "Go and save him we can us him in our plans." He snapped at me. I attacked the fox and bite the fox on the neck and it yelped. The fox turned to me and it snarled. I leaped for the fox's leg as it through Rain at the tree. He fell with a thud and I looked over letting the fox bite my leg instead. I limped away and I went over to Rain. The only thing I don't remember is blacking out but when I woke up everyone had scars and we were in the tunnels. Other cats were looking at us. Everyone in "my" group was slowly waking up. "Good your up. Welcome to our group Rock and this is our home...............Prisoners." The black tom said glaring straight at me.

Sorry it was short but Lightningpaw is going on her quest of fate now and Starclan can't even save her.
