From One Wolf to Another

Chapter One

"Cassie, Cassie please pay attention" my English teacher sighed exasperated "Cassie I know you have a ton of potential. I also know your gymnastics coach wont be happy and may not let you participate in the upcoming meet."

"Yes Mam. I am sorry I will try harder" I say but when she turns around I let my eyes quickly change to sliver before returning back to the soft blue they normally are. After class one of my best friends Chloe comes running up to me trying not to fall over laughing.

"Wow nice control over yourself..Ohhh my gosh. He's looking at you!!!" Chloe says breathless. I look over at where her eyes had been looking at and my eyes connected with the Alpha's son, Jonathan Blakes, I felt my heart skip a beat. Let me just tell you that Jonathan or John (as everyone calls him) is gorgeous. Unfortunately he is also the biggest player in Lake View high school.

I looked back at Chloe and rolled my eyes. I quickly reminded her that he isnt my 'type'. I laughed at her little pout and started to walk away. As I did, I took a glance back to see Jonathan still looking at me. 'What was that guys problem?' I told myself, but my heartbeat wavered a little, doubling in speed.

As I walked down the hallway I could hear someone shouting my name. I turned around to see my good friend Megan walking quickly so as to catch up.

"Hey Megan. How did you do in your Maths Exam?" I asked her, knowing that she had been working really hard on her revision. There was no way she could of failed.

"I passed it. Easy Peasy. I do need to thank you for making those flash cards." I didnt point out the fact that I hadnt made them for her. They were the ones i had used to revise for my Exam, 2 months before.

I heard the bell ring and I knew I had to get going. I hugged Megan and scurried off to my next class, shouting goodbye to Megan over my shoulder. I turned around and ran straight into Alex, my ex.

"What do you want?" I scowled at him. Lets just say, as far as relationships go, we were probaly the worst couple here at Lake View High School.

"Why does there have to be a reason to come talking to my cheating ex?" He said in a sickly sweet tone

I felt myself getting angry and I knew i had to calm down.

"Alex, I didnt cheat on you." I reminded him through gritted teeth.

"Whatever, you little-" I ran past him before I could hear the rest of the sentence. Hey! I am a tad sensitive. As I ran into my next class, I noticed that I was ten minutes late and everyone was sat down doing their Food Tech Exam. Oops.

We decided to do a story together on here as we are friends and both love writing stories. Sorry the chapter is a tad short. We just wanted you to get to know some of the charcters. Also, having a 6 hour time zone difference and us both having school, we may not be able to update more than twice a week. Anyway, if we can get a couple of reads, we will do chapter two!
