Fighting Emotions- Cassie

A/N

Hey there. Megan is at school and i am bored cause my bf is in scotland. What is it with everyone going abroad?

We decided to do a whole chapter on Jonathan's emotions but i think we should do one for each character. In chapters so far, we jump from person to person to tell the story but not really getting involved in who feels what.

With that, I give you Cassie and her fight against her emotions. Thank you xx

Cassie's p.o.v

I left our side of the forest and started walking onto rouges terriotory. I knew it was dangerous but i didnt care. I was fed up and heartbroken. Not only did i get rejected the first time and get my heart broken, now I had got snapped in two again because i couldnt betray Megan like she did me.

I heard a growl but kept walking, ignoring everything around me. I found a strange looking tree that was twisted and looked almost magical. I climbed it with ease and sat on a high branch. My back fell against the trunk and i took a shaky breath before bursting into tears. I could feel my wolf stirring inside of me, almost as if she was waking up from a deep sleep.

I love him. Its all Megans fault.

No. Its not her fault they were in love. You should be happy for her.

Well i am not.

Then this just shows what a bad friend you are.

I rejected him so he could stay with her. I really dont see how i am the bad guy here.

You are not. You did the right thing for everyone but you shouldnt be letting it get to you like this.

Its not fair though.

Its perfectly fair. This is life. Get over it and stop being so wrapped up in your problems and think about how they are feeling.

Shut up. Just shut up. Stop trying to make me the bad guy. I did what i did and they need to get over it. Go away.

I felt her nestle down and go quiet after my scolding. I instantly felt guilty. She was right. I needed to think about it all so i climbed down the tree and started walking, deeper into the rouge's terriotory.

After a few minutes i saw a girl approaching. She looked quizzicaly at me and growled as if in warning.

I smiled as best i could and walked up to her. She took a step back as if trying to run. I put a hand up to her and she stayed put.

"Im not here to do any harm. I just had to reject my mate as the future Alpha so he could stay with my mate. Now im upset and i was just walking around untill i ended up here. I didnt even realize how far i had come into your terriotory. Im sorry."

She smiled at me and looked like she trusted me. She beckoned me to follow her. After about five minutes, she pulled a note out of her pocket and handed it to me.

'Hi. My name is Imogen. Nice to meet you.'

I looked up at her questionly and she just half shrugged. I tilted my head and then realized. She couldnt talk.

"Hey. My name is Cassie. It is nice to meet you too."

She let out a breath and smiled.

"Can you talk?"

She nodded.

"Are you allowed to talk?"

She nodded again.

"Why don't you?"

She was about to pull something out of her pocket when i heard a growl behind me. I looked at her quickly and caught a pained look spread across her face. I spun around to face whoever was there. No-one.

I felt someone tap my shoulder and spun around face to face with a guy about 21. He smiled a quirky smile.

"Hey there. I haven't seen you around here before."

A/N

Chloe here. This is Cassie meeting a rougue. Shes very mysterious, isnt she? In a few hours, i will post Johnathan's p.o.v and when Megan gets back from school (dang i love spring break) she will do Megan's p.o.v xx
