Cassie's P.O.V

OMG!!!!!! I am kissing Jonathan. Holy crap! I am cheating on m friend with her boy friend! She is going to be so mad at me! I pulled back and we looked at each other.

"Ummmmm" I said

"Oh shi*. Did you feel that?" Jonathan asked

"Ya" I said in an awestruck tone

"You can't tell ANYONE about that. I am dating Megan and she can't find out!" Jonathan said

"I-i know" I say sadly

"I am sorry. I shouldn't have kissed you" Jonathan said and suddenly I got angry.

"No you shouldn't have! She's my best friend and-" before I could finish my sentence Jonathan kissed me again! This time I pulled back faster "you really have to stop that."

"Stop what?" Jonathan asked with a look of innocence on his face. He was saved from my answer by our seat coming into the loading/unloading doc.

"You got lucky this time" I said. Then I saw Megan coming towards us.

"Hey you guys want to go for a run? My wolf is craving being in its natural form" Megan said

"Ya we should. Mine too. You coming Cassie?" Jonathan said

"I-um-well. Why not" I said giving in "but if you two start making out I am leaving" I say give Megan my best death stare. She held her hands up and said they wouldn't. We walked towards the woods and I Mind Linked Chloe.

'Hey Clo. We are going for a run which means I get find out if he's my mate'

'Omg!! Good luck! You had better tell me as soon as you find out!' Chloe says

'I will don't worry' I say and disconnect the Mind Link.

"Alright girls I am going over to that tree and i will shift behind the tree you two find other trees and do the same. We all meet back here. Got it?" Jonathan says and Megan and I both nod our heads. We each find different trees. I shift and walk out from behind the tree I had changed. I was instantly alert. There was no one in the clearing.

'Jonathan?' I asked through a mind link

'Ya?' He answered

'Where are you?'

'In the clearing. Why?'

'Because one of us messed up. I thought I was in the clearing. I can see the fair and where we walked out from'

'Wait I can too...how can we be in the same place but not be able to see each other?'

'I am going to see where Megan is and bring her into our mind link' I say 'Megan?'

'Yes Cassie?'

'Where are you' I ask Megan

'A little bit a way from the clearing. Why?'

'Because something is wrong. Jonathan and I are in the same clearing but we can't see each other' I say

'Thats bad' Megan says then I sniff the air.

'Guys things just got a whole lot worse' I say

'Why?' Megan asked

'How' Jonathan asked at the same time

'Rouges' I say grimly then I hear a growl and I slowly turn around to see the biggest rouges I have ever seen in my entire life. I whimper and back away. 'Um hey guys if you could get here soon. It would be helpful. Anytime now.'

'I found Megan and we are trying to find you' Jonathan says 'just stay where you are unless you think you can out run them'

'Dude you can't see them so let me paint a picture of what they look like. Imagine the biggest rouge you have ever seen and double it. I have never seen a rouge this size' I say starting to panic a little bit

'Ok we found you' Megan says. I turn and look around and my eyes connect with another pair of eyes. I felt something go through me and my wolf says the word I didn't think I would hear. MATE.
