From One Wolf to Another

Chapter 18

Jonathan's P.O.V.

I saw the girls walk away and this jerks eyes swell up in fear. I wasnt sure why and the thought of it distracted me as he pounced at me and clawed at my face.

I tried to defend myself but he was very strong and I couldnt fight him. I managed to hold him off for a few minutes but he got a hold of me and threw me into a nearby tree where I fell unconcious.

When I awoke, I couldnt see him anywhere. I could see the sun setting in the distance and I knew we were in trouble. Darkness in a rouge's territory is never good. I got up, a little shaky and a tad dizzy and started stumbling around.

Then I heard it. The most horrorfying scream in all of wolf history. It burst my ears and I cowered my head. It took less than a second for me to realise who had screamed before I started running to find my mate.

Imogen's p.o.v

I covered my ears from the sound. Her screams would not stop. I couldnt see what was happening cause I was tied to a tree. After what felt like forever I heard him say something that chilled me to the core and made my blood freeze over.

"Just like Imogen. Always disobeying. You are mine now. And I will have you. Dont try to fight me. I will sure you what true love is."

I knew what he meant. He meant he was going to rape her. Just like he had done to me. I screamed at him to stop but my voice was hoarse because i hadnt spoken in three years. I doubt anyone heard me.

I heard a twig snap and my head swiveled around, trying to locate the noise. Then I saw him. The guy who had been with Cassie. He held a finger to his lips for me to keep quiet and I nodded.

He kept advancing towards me and slowly knelt down to untie the ropes.

"Where are they?" He whispered in my ear. I pointed in the direction of the voices and he slowly nodded. He told me to wait here and not move. As he walked past the tree, I heard him gasp. I stuck my head around the tree and almost fainted.

There was blood everywhere. I could see Cassie tied naked to a tree and my brother (Jacob) undressing. On the floor, there was a knife covered in her blood. Her skin was white, probaly due to blood loss and her head was bent, her black curly ringlets falling over her chest.

Jacob looked up at us and growled. The boy changed into his wolf so fast, it was almost a blur. I ran to Cassie and tried to stop the blood flow. I could hear the boys fighting behind us but I ignored them.

Before Mum and Dad died, Mum was the pack doctor and always gave me tips that she thought would help me. I took the shreds of Cassies clothes off the floor and started using them as bandages.

Cassie was trying to cover herself with the remaining rags but her dignity was the least of my worries as i examined the cut above her eye. I held a cloth to it but the bleeding wouldnt stop. In the end, I started to lick the cut. Sounds disgusting but my wolf was desperate as she was our only friend.

Her cut started to heal very slowly and I held her hand as she cried in pain. The boys were still fighting but both of their coats were matted with blood.

Cassie groaned and I saw that she was almost healed on the outside. I looked over at the boys and saw Jacob pinned down. The boy looked at him and I new he was going to kill him. This might be strange but I couldn't wait until he was dead so I would be free. I saw him hesitate.

"What are you waiting for?" I asked. The boys head snapped towards me but it only stayed on me for a second before returning to Jacob. The boy punched him and Jacob went limp. "Is he dead? What's your name?"

The boy smiled "Jonathan and no he's is not dead" I frowned

"I don't want to be his. I want him gone." I say frowning. Cassie groaned and we both looked at her.

"Will she be ok?" Jonathan asked nervously. I nodded. I helped her up and looked at Johnathan. I waved my hand at the mess of my brother as if signalling for him to finish and let Cassie away. She had seen enough blood. After a moment, Johnathan caught us up.

"Done."

And i finally felt free.
