From One Wolf to Another

Chapter Twelve

Cassie's P.O.V.

'Rouge's. get up' my wolf said

'but I am tired' I complain

'ok if you want to die then stay where you are'

'can't i just send a message to the Alpha'

'yes but you still have move. Alpha will tell you to leave the forest. if you want to live you will leave and start running.'

'fine' i sigh and get up then i freeze. i felt a chill go down my spin like when you feel like something is wrong. i hear voices getting closer.

'umm Alpha i am in the forest and i smell rouges. i am also hearing their voices. what should i do?'

'GET OUT OF THE FOREST.' came his response

'i can't unless i want to get caught'

'alright i am going to send Jonathan' i was about to send a message saying that he didn't have to but i didnt have a chance.

I felt someone breathing on the back of my neck and froze. I slowly turned around and there was a guy right in front of me, so close we were touching.

Taking a step back, i could see four more behind him. The guy wasnt too bad looking but he was a rouge and i had to be careful.

"Alright there. My name is Harry. You?"

Sounds friendly right? His face said otherwise, his mouth twisting into a snarl despite the fact that he was in human form.

"Whats it to you?"

He raised an eyebrow and for a minute it looked as if he was deciding to kill me on the spot or play around for a bit longer.

"I like to know the names of my victims before i tear them apart."

Hearing his mates chuckle behind him, my anger flared.

Just as i was about to say something, i could hear a bunch of footsteps behind me.

I turned to see Johnathan, megan and a few others stood there. Megan looked relived to see i was ok but Johnathans face held no emotion. Someone hugged me from behind and i turned to see Chloe.

A guy who had come with Johnathan took my hand and guided us over to where Megan and two other girls stood so that we were out of the way.

The rouges looked at the members of our pack like dirt whilst Johnathan calmy told them that they were in out territory and that they should leave.

That was one of the many things i loved about Johnathan; His abilty to keep calm and Alpha-like in serious situations. They exchanged a few words before the rouges left.

Johnathan came over and checked me over to see if i was hurt. He touched my shoulder and sparks shot through me. It was a gentle gesture but it excited me and by the look on Megan's face, she had noticed.

After explaining that i should not be out on my own in the woods, like i was three or something, he made his way over to Megan and they started to make out.

I turned away as a tear fell down my cheek. Chloe sympathetically smiled before we all decided to go to Alpha. She gently squeezed my hand and whispered, " Stay strong".
