Chapter Ten

Chloe's P.o.v

As we stood together in the carpark, we saw the familiar car pull up. I could feel Cassie tense beside me. I looked at her and gave her a sympathetic smile reminding her that we were in this together. We saw Johnathan step out the car and stroll around to the passenger side to let Megan out.

That should be Cassie. I thought to myself as anger bubbled up inside of me. I heard her let out a sob next to me and i turned to see her running off.

Johnathan and Megan were walking towards me.

"Megan."

"Chloe."

I looked up at Johnathan who looked really confused as to why we werent running and hugging like normal.

"Chloe can we talk about this later?"

"So your boyfriend doesnt hear how much of a backstabbing bitch you are? Sure."

Megan's P.o.v

I gasped. How dare she! Cassie made it very clear that she did not want to date him so why couldnt i have a chance at being happy.

Besides, she had only just stepped out of an abusive relationship. She needed a break.

I felt the need to explain our relationship's rules so i looked at Chloe and said "We have both agreed that this relationship stands until one or both of us find our Mates. So neither of you should worry." Chloe looked surprised.

"You mean you haven't found your Mate?" Chloe asked Jonathan.

"No I haven't." Jonathan said sadly. I saw Chloe smirk.

"Hey Clo have you found your Mate yet?" In 3 seconds flat I saw Chloe's smirk slip right off her face and I instantly felt bad "I am sorry that was bitchy of me. I haven't found my Mate yet so I shouldn't tease you about not finding yours."

"Come on we gotta go " Jonathan said to me.

"You go a head, I need to talk to Chloe" I say. He nods and kisses me on the cheek. I turn and watch him walk away, then I turn back to Chloe "I know your mad at me but I don't think you have a good reason, if anything I have a good reason to be mad at you. I mean you told Cassie when I would have. And I bet you didn't tell her the truth-"

"Are you trying to make me even more mad?" Chloe asked me.

"Why would I try and make someone who is supposed to be my friend mad?" I ask. I realize that my tone is one of sadness not anger. Chloe turned and looked at me with surprise "Yes I feel bad and I want to be friends with you but when you go and tell her stuff that is only a small part of the truth then it hurts me and how I interact or don't interact with her. Please tell Cassie I am sorry and that if she is willing to forgive me then I will be happier and please also explain that we are only dating until one or both of us finds our Mate's."

"Ya. I will. And for the record I am sorry about telling her I should have left that up to you" Chloe said.

"Friends?" I ask.

Chloe nods "Friends" we laugh and I pull out my phone to check the time.

"Oh shoot we gotta go! We got 3 minutes to get to class!" We say our goodbyes and head off.

It's kinda short. Sorry guy's I (Megan) just got back from Florida a few days ago. If you ever get a chance GO THERE it is beautiful. Ok so I am gunna stop bragging now. Sorry.

Hey. Chloe here. Whilst Megan was sunbathing with micky mouse... Yeah... I didnt do anything exciting lol. Me and Megan have been talking about a new story/few short stories to run alongside this one. What do you think? Any ideas?
