"Can I get a window seat, don't want nobody next to me." Erykah Badu

                                                                  Tuesday.

Tuesdai

I woke up this morning laying in tattooed arms wrapped around my body. I tossed in his arms until I was facing his chest. I smelled the scent of his tattooed chest that was bare of a shirt before smiling. I wish I could stay like this all day, but I knew I needed to get my ass up or I'd be late. I tried pulling away from his grasp, but he his grip got tighter. I squirmed until I knew he would get frustrated and open those beautiful hazel orbs that I loved to stare in.

"What's wrong with you man?" I chuckled at him before kissing his nose and gesturing to him that I needed to get up. He reluctantly let go of my waist and let me up. I walked straight to my bags since I didn't feel like unpacking last night and found my scrubs for the day and other necessities. I took a shower and did the other things that make up my morning routine before buttering down my body with my favorite coconut lotion and slipping on the pink scrubs. I stepped out of the bathroom only to see Rah's muscular back facing me as he talked on the phone to someone. I walked over to him and mouthed that I was leaving.

"Yo, lemme call you back real quick, I gotta talk to my girl." He hung up the phone and kissed my lips, trying to make it a make out session. I pulled back. "Not with that stinky ass breath ya don't. " He chuckled. "Ain't nobody breath smell. I do have a guest room, with a built in bathroom, with new toothbrushes inside." I rolled my eyes knowing he was right because I could taste the mint on his tongue.

"Whatever, anyways I gotta go before I'm late." He pouted before grabbing my waist. "Gimme kisses." I laughed before pecking his lip multiple times. He let me go and threw me a pair of keys to one of his Audi's parked outside. I kissed his cheek before sashaying away.

.

.

"Hi Brenda." I smiled at my colleague. She handed me my Chi latte from Starbucks before giving me a hug. "Lifesaver!" She chuckled before shrugging. "No biggie love, I know you way more than I should." I rolled my eyes and flicked her off as she winked and walked to the front to start filling prescriptions. I laid my jacket in the break room before sitting at the desk and taking Brenda's orders.

"Alright, I'm boutta head on my break, you gonna be good all by yourself?" "Yeah, it's a slow day, so it shouldn't be that hard, Just bring me back a sandwich from Panera, nothing with ham please." I smiled. She nodded her head as she grabbed her new Chanel purse and kissed my cheek. I heard the alarm go off, but I was too busy texting Rah to notice the person that walked in.

"Excuse me, I need some help for toddler medicine." The person semi- yelled. I instantly knew that voice. I got up quickly and mentally rolled my eyes at my very own cousin Trinity holding her son on her hip as she held up a bottle of baby Tylenol. She gasped as she noticed me. I smirked at her before taking the bottle out of her hand and looking over it.

"How old is he?" She looked as if she had seen a ghost. I was running out of patience so I snapped my fingers in her face. "Oh, he's three." I read over the directions and nodded my head. "Give him a teaspoon of this a day until the cold is gone." She only nodded her head. I tried walking away, but I heard her whisper my name. "Yeah Trinity." She sighed. "I just want you to know I honestly didn't mean for any of this to happen Tues. I'm sorry."  "Is that all?" I had no words for her apology, especially now.  I just wanted to be away from the situation. "Well, I know you and Rah are talking again. I'm happy for you two. I just hope he doesn't forget about Tristan." She nodded toward the little boy.

"Why would he remember? That's not his son." "Of course this is his son!" I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "Trinity, Rah told me he wasn't the father of your kid." She gasped dramatically. "He's a damn liar! This is son Tuesdai, he was just over my condo last night with Tristan. I wouldn't lie about that." I felt my heart starting to ache all over again. As soon as I let Rahmell Carter back into my life, he does something to fuck up the trust I had instilled in him. All I could do was nod my head. "Will that be all for you today?" She shook her no and I walked off. I wanted to punch Rah in his face for lying to me, for making me believe that wasn't his damn son when he knew it was! Wait till I get to the house.

.

.

I unlocked the door to Rahmells house with only one thing on my mind. Beating his lying ass. I could hear mumbling from the steps so I walked up the steps. Step by step, stride by stride I could hear my heart beating faster and faster. I reached the last step and stood outside the doorway for what seemed like forever.I tried to calm myself down, but it  didn't work, the more I thought about the reasoning behind me needing to calm down, the more I got angrier. I walked into the bedroom to see Rah stretched out on the bed watching some sport game. He propped his self up and smiled at me. I kept a straight face as he walked over to me from where I was standing. He grabbed my waist and I pushed him off before slapping him straight across the face.

"What the fuck Tuesdai!" He yelled as I threw one of my shoes at him and charged his way. I punched him all over as he tried to block my tiny punches. "I hate you! You liar! I actually gave you another chance and you do this shit to me!" I yelled at him as I was pinned up against the wall with him holding my arms above my head.

"The fuck you talm bout!" He roared. I noticed his eye was bruised and his lip was dripping blood a bit

"Trinity's baby asshole! He's yours and you know it Rahmell!" He chuckled loudly and let my hands go before clapping like he was congratulating me on something.

"Congrats for being an insecure ass woman!" He laughed. "I told yo ass that wasn't my son and you still believe what you want to!"

I threw my other shoe at him, but he dodged it. He walked up to me pinning me to wall once more. "Tuedai, you got more time to throw some shit at me. I'm deadass!" I spat in his face causing him to let me go. I walked out the room. He followed me. "What the fuck you on?" He asked grabbing my waist. "Trinity came to my job today. She told me everything, you went over her house last night?" He looked at me confusedly.

"Hell no! I was cuddled up with yo ass! How the fuck I'm spose to go if I was fucking sleep? You must be sniffing the shit that I'm supplying cause you acting out yo."

"Don't lie to me Darius." I said using his middle name.

"Baby, he's not my son, that bitch is lying to you. I wouldn't do you like that again."  I started to cry knowing I messed up badly. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have believed her."  I cried.  He held me close and kissed my forehead.

"If we gon be tryin' to work us out, you gon have to learn to trust a nigga."

"She was family baby."

"Sometimes family can be your worst enemy."
