AN: It's a short chapter, but I have ideas for the next chapter, so please don't complain.
Tuesdai
I sat on my bed, motionless. Rah would be here soon and I honestly didn't want to tell him what was going on. I wanted to fix this myself, but I knew if I went to that hotel room unprepared, something bad would happen and I couldn't let that happen, not with my baby still inside of me. I laid on my pregnant pillow and sighed. I was about to nod off and I wanted Rah to be here before I fell asleep. He was supposed to be here a while ago, an hour to be exact. I started worrying, but I knew Rah was fine, his flight probably got delayed.
I woke up from the sound of my phone ringing. I answered it groggily, but soon screamed at the sound of a gun going off. I was up and now alert. The phone call ended after that and I was left shocked and gasping for air. I checked the number and it was Rah. I almost lost my mind. I called him back, it went straight to voice mail. I paced the room back and forth until I was tired. I sat on the edge of the bed with my head in my hands as I heard my phone ringing again.
"Hello." I sighed. It was Frank.
"Baby?" Rah croaked out. I jumped up, almost falling to the ground. "Baby, what's going on tell me!"I shouted.
"Babe, I'm losing mad blood." He chuckled. I shook my head as the tears fell.
"Where are you Rahmell?"
"Shh, don't cry babe. I'm on my plane, but ayye, I need you to do me a favor." He slurred.
I slid on my sneakers and grabbed my jean jacket rushing down the stairs. "What baby?"
"Stay strong. I don't want you crying when I don't come back home to you." I wiped the fresh tears and started the car. "Rah please stop talking like this."
"Nah Tues. That nigga got me good. Got me right in the chest." He chuckled. "But I killed his ass. I made sure I did, so when I'm gone you won't have to worry about him coming for you." I sighed as the red light stopped me.
"You won't be going anywhere Rah. Stop thinking like that." The line went quiet for a minute and I started to panic. "Rah! Rahmell! Please don't do this to me!" I screamed into the phone. I raced to the location of his jet. I made sure to call the police after the line went dead, so they were already here. I stopped my car and got out, not even caring that it was still running. I had to see him.
"Ma'am you can't go any further." One police officer said to me. I pushed his hand away from me, forcing my way to the ambulance truck. I saw him laying there on a stretcher and ran towards him, falling to my knees with tears cascading down my plump cheeks. "Ma'am we have to put him in the truck." "I'm going with him." He looked at me. "And you are?" "His wife." I held up the engagement ring Rah gave me in Hawaii. He shook his head rushing me onto the truck.
I held his hand as we all watched the little monitor, checking his heart rate. It began to drop and I was getting nervous, I held my head down in frustration."His heart rate dropped!" The paramedic yelled catching my attention. I looked up at his pale face. "Flat line!" Someone yelled. I gasped and held my hand to my mouth as they tried to revive his body. "Come on!" The paramedic mumbled. "Don't die on me."
I held his hand, praying to anyone who was listening. I needed some type of miracle and I needed it now. This was all my fault and I don't know what I would do without Rah being here. I couldn't even fathom the thought of not waking up to him. How would I tell our child that they're father died over me. I never wanted any of this to happen and it happened so fast that I didn't see it coming. I sobbed as I heard the monitor go flat line. "Flat line." The paramedic yelled out. "We lost em." He sighed.
