                                                        Wednesday

Tuesdai

"I ain't takin' this shit Tues, now stop asking." I followed Rah around the house as I held up a in-home DNA test. I had gotten the "Okay" form Trinity who quickly swabbed her baby's mouth, all I had to do was get Rah's and we'd be good.

"What are you hiding Rahmell?" I followed as he went into the kitchen.  He opened the fridge grabbing a Gatorade. "Nothin', I'm just not boutta prove to you that I'm tellin' the truth!" He leaned on the island and sipped the drink.

"You must be hiding something from me then." "Tuesdai. Ain't nobody hiding shit from you! The only child I have is Quanell Ahmere Carter! Now leave me alone." He walked out of the room leaving me lost in my own world. I hadn't heard someone call out my son's government name in  a very long time and for some reason it struck something in me. I'm not sure what it was, but it was a stinging sensation.

I walked up the steps and into our room. He was laying on his back with his phone in the air as he held it. I laid next to him looking at the ceiling until he felt like acknowledging me again.

"What's wrong Tuesdai?" He sighed.

"This was all wrong Rah."

"What, exactly?"

"This, this week thing, this isn't right. We weren't supposed to see each other again, and I wasn't suppposed to love you again. I can't do this with you anymore Rahmell. It's not healthy."

He sat up quick;y and looked down at me. "Tuesdai, I don't get you, I swear I don't. One minute you love me, the next you want nothing to do wit me. What do you want Tuesdai cause I'm runnin' out of ideas."

"I don't want this anymore." I said pointing in between the both of us.

He sighed deeply and ran a hand down his face. "You don't even mean that shit! You just afraid!" He yelled.

"Afraid of what Rah?"

"Afraid that what happened three years ago is gon happen again Tues! I'm not gonna hurt you again. I fuckin' love you and you still can't see it! I'm tired too Tuesdai. That little boy is not my child, and I know it for a fact, but if this shit is what's gon make you sleep at night then so be it. Wheres the cotton swab at?"

I pointed to the side table where I had sat it down. He picked it up and swabbed his mouth with it before taking the plastic baggy and dropping it in, sealing it.

"Now when this shit comes back negative, you gotta believe me, cause if it ain't no trust in this relationship, then we might as well call it quits."

I kissed his lips. "I'm not ever callin' it quits again. I don't need to send this in. You just told me the truth." I smiled. I threw the baggy in the trash and straddled his lap, kissing his neck.

"What the hell man? What are you doing to me?" He sighed. I kissed his lips. "I wanted you to agree to taking the test to prove to me that you were telling the truth. I already figured that you were telling me the truth, but you swabbing your mouth made me realize that your gonna keep it one hundred with me at all times."

"So you pretty much played me?" I shook my head yes.

"Pretty much." I giggled. He kissed my neck, probably leaving some type of mark and grabbed my ass.

"Baby." He whispered, I looked up at him, staring into the hazel eyes that I love.

"Yes."

"I love you."

"I love you more."

Rahmell

"The fuck you want?" I said as soon as she walked into my office. She wore nothing but a trench coat and heels that she probably couldn't walk in for too long. She smiled deviously at me and walked further into the office locking my door behind.

"Rah, don't you miss me? I know you do?" She straddled my lap, making me push her off.

"Move Trinity." She rolled her eyes and tried doing it again. I pushed her off once more and got up from my chair heading back to the door to unlock it.

"Rahmell! I know you love me! How could you tell that bitch Tristan ain't yours! You know he is!"

I sighed. "That boy ain't mine Trinity! We both know it! Yes, I helped you out with him once in a while, but he ain't mine!"

"So those three years ain't mean shit to you! Our house, our little family meant nothing Rahmell? You expect me to just let the love of my life go ghost on me for my damn cousin, why are you with her again? Don't you remember what you told me? "Tues just don't please me no mo. I love her, but she ain't what I want to be doin' right now. She never got time for me, all she care bout is her job. Ever since Quan died she just don't want to do shit." She mocked me. I felt my jaw tighten.

"Shu--"

"Tha't really how you felt Rah?" I heard her voice croak out. I looked to the door, it was opened and there Tuesdai was standing there with tears cascading down her face. I walked over to her, but she just backed as as if I had some type of disease.

"You moved to Cali with her?" She whispered.

"Baby, I swear it was only becuase I thought she was carrying my seed. I promise you that."

"You didn't even find me attractive Rahmell!" She yelled.

"Baby, I did! Your so beautiful to me.I love everything about you."

She shook her. "No, no, save all the bullshit for someone else. My stuff won't be in your house by the time you get back. I'm done." She wiped the remaining tears and walked back downstairs and out the door.

"She's just too weak for you Rahmell, you need a rider." Trinity's annoying ass voice said. I glared at her. "Get the fuck out now!" I yelled at her. She rushed out not even glancing back at me. I sat on the edge of my desk with my head in my hands.

"I really fucked this up." I mumbled to myself.
