Sting stopped staring at you during school.

He stopped glaring at Lyon and Mard too. All he's really done is apologize to you when he accidentally bumped shoulders with you in the hallway. Other than that, he's practically a stranger now. A complete stranger who you use to call your boyfriend.

The question now you guessed was when you two were gonna talk. Would your next talk be your first in awhile or your last forever? Your guess was as good as his.

The talk around school was that Sting was seeing Yukino because he was rejecting every girl that came to him. You'd like to think it was because he still had feelings for you, but who were you kidding? He doesn't want to talk.

That might as well mean he doesn't want your relationship.

"Hello busybody." One half of an ice cream appeared in front of you as you were in the middle of a hardcore study session. It was lunch time already and Lyon's appearance wasn't a surprising one. The ice cream was different though.

You look up from your study guides and your face softens. The day was stressful enough as it was. You didn't need to be fighting with anyone else and Lyon made sure to call you down with delicious treats. He seemed to be your main hookup for treats since he worked at the convenience store.

Actually, since you two have started hanging out, he's been spoiling you rotten. He even asked to come by sometime to make you Ramen because god forbid you weren't doing it yourself.

Lately, since there was a science quiz almost every class, you've been drowned in your books and had even asked your father about the possibility of cram school.

He told you he'd pay for it as long as you went to every session needed and cut down your hours at work. He's visited you there and even though he hates to admit it he claimed he was proud you knew how to take care of yourself.

But now you were so stressed with school, you didn't think taking care of yourself were the right words. Managing or getting by would be better explanations.

"Cram school?"

You bite down as carefully as you could on the ice cream and nod. "Yeah. I want to get in as much as I can. My dad says it'll help my entrance exams."

Lyon's eyes went wide and he almost dropped his ice cream. "Entrance exams? Are you going to a different school?"

You would be lying to yourself if you said you hadn't thought about it. Fiore Academy was a great school but there were better schools out there. There was even Alvarez but it was so far away from everyone.

But lately, since everyone was ignoring you and you didn't exactly have Sting anymore, Alvarez wasn't looking so bad. You just wanted the best education to possibly take your father's place and make a career for yourself.

For now, you shrug as an answer for Lyon. "Maybe. This school is great but... maybe I need a better school you know?"

"Or better people?" He was suggesting your dispute with Sting and your old friends. Lyon may have not brought it up but he wasn't dumb. He knew what you've been going through.

You shrug again but this time with a forced smile. "I need a fresh start without pain."

"Anyone deserve that kind of start." He says, resting his hand on your shoulder and offering one of his many knowing smirks. "You have my full support."

Sting POV

"Nice going dumbass!"

It wasn't the worst thing I've been called today, but it was the most surprising.
