You carried your school bag in one hand and carried a tote full of kimonos in another. On top of that you had your shopping bags filled with ingredients to make treats for your class' exhibition. Treats and mostly pastry related things like cookies. You were getting most of the help from, Eclair who you were late picking up the pastries for.

After you got off the train you sprinted to her shop, not caring if your bags hit each other or got tussled around. You were on a mission and whether you liked it or not it was time sensitive and important.

You had to worry about foods, the costumes for the costume parade and the exhibition, not to mention helping around with everything as much as you could because there always seemed to be something going wrong at least once or twice every moment!

And of course, to top off the crepe, you had the stupid modelling and perfect couple contest to worry about. Thankfully it only lasted a part of the day. You were definitely not looking forward to it yet here you were thinking about it.

Well, that and everything else going on was something you were forced to think about because all Hell would break loose otherwise.

"I made it!" You slid the door open and shouted through the shop. Eclair quickly gave you two other bags to carry and sent you out.

She pushed on your back and gave you one of her best smiles. "Knock em dead at the festival okay?"

In return you grinned from ear to ear and nodded. "I will!"

In no time you were on the train again, pressing forward in order to make it to Dobengal's in time. His text told you he was starting and that when you got there you could help him prepare the Choco Bananas. He also put you in charge of preparing the candied apples and leftover pastries. He was starting (and practically almost finishing) his share of the work.

Now you only had to finish it off at his place and then head on over to Lucy's with your share of the treats and the kimonos for your class. Turns out you had your own costume to finish and worst of all, multiple outfits needed to be picked out by Sherry for your contest.

It never seemed to end for you.

The beginning of your work started when you rung his doorbell. He answered in his every day black scarf and a black apron to match. It was quite a sight to behold.

He looked agitated and covered in some kind of mix. "It's about time you got here!"

You only stood there in guilt while you tried to laugh it off. "I'm sorry..."

He left the door wide open for you and turned back to do his work. "I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing so thank goodness you're here."

You took your shoes off at the door and asked him where to place your multiple bags. He told you to place them on the dinner table and bring the ones needed to bake into the kitchen.

Already six o'clock and you two were nearly done. The whole time he pestered you about how to make something or what time to set everything at. You helped him of course, but when doing so you couldn't help but feel bad for his future wife. She was gonna have to be a pro at cooking or it was take out every night for the two of them.

You were actually a lost cause when it came to cooking too, but lately, because of the festival and the food you needed to prepare, you've studied cookbooks just as much as regular textbooks and figured it out for yourself.

It's a good thing you did too. Poor Dobengal couldn't tell a spoon from a fork in his own kitchen. He claims his mother was so good at it that he thought he'd never need to learn. It may be true in his case, but you still taught him a few things here and there.
