You didn't worry about the other jealous girls in school. You knew they all wanted to compete in that terrible contest but you got a spot instead. Mard most likely had something to do with it and you didn't want to know how. Now you got Yukino worried that you did something to her sister just to get the spot.

But just like before, when you had you name randomly announced on the speaker, you had no idea what was going on.

Two days passed already and everyone forgot about it anyway. They were too busy dealing with their own class room activities to care about the big contest. You on the other hand had to worry about both.

According to Sherry, you had to have different outfits for the contest and you are judged purely for appearance. Then, when you got paired off, you had to do different rounds of activities to rack up points.

Your old side came out when she told you that. You said, "I'd rather be studying than modeling."

Sherry just laughed.

She offered to help you but she was so busy making costumes for her class that you couldn't fit in the time with her. You on the other hand have written up ten different recipes and have bought three trips worth of groceries.

Tomorrow was Thursday, meaning you had to figure out what time you were going over to Dobengal's to make everything and then figuring out what time you were going to Lucy's to help Sherry make costumes. You were pretty handy with a needle and thread thanks to your mom so you had nothing to worry about when it came to messing up the costumes.

You were also put in charge of finishing off Yukino's princess dress and Sting's prince outfit. The girl who was in charge got injured at her job so her arm is out of commission. All of this also meant that you had to make yet another trip to the store to get get certain fabrics and a sewing kit.

Thank goodness you just got paid. You've been working extra hard at Eclair's bakery so she made sure to pay you in full.

Speaking of Eclair, she offered to make pastries for the school festival so your class could be that much better than the others (her words not yours). You took the offer and agreed to come by at the end of the day tomorrow to collect them.

You were a busy bee lately, but it was a little bit better than dealing with studying and self assessing your life.

"Ready to go (Y/N)?" Sherry poked her head into your classroom as you were getting your things ready for lunch.

You were eating on the roof today with her, Chelia, Lyon, Jura, Toby, and Yuka. They were all up there to finally get a break from their teacher who was constantly down their throats about the festival.

It seemed like every teacher was worried about the festival. The students have never been crazier according to class 2-B's teacher, Mr. Makarov. And because they're crazy, the teachers have to be more strict than ever before.

Lyon told you that his buddy Gray and Natsu have already been held behind after school to do extra clean up. That was due to the fact that they not only burnt three of their banners but have also drenched them some way. You have no idea how and you wouldn't want to know either.

"It's too nice today." Sherry held her hand up to her forehead as she tried to stare at the sun. It's the first thing she did when you got to the roof.

You couldn't tell if she was complaining or not. "Um... is that a bad thing?"

"Of course it is! It'll give me a tan and I need to keep my skin as pure as a pearl!" You've seen plenty of other girls tanned so you couldn't comprehend why she wouldn't want one.
