"No no no! Set it up again!" Minerva the director was shouting continuously even though the classroom was small enough to hear a pin drop with talking.
Your beloved Minerva was a director of fury when it came to the lines being flopped or forgotten. Sting thought the script all together was dumb. He had to play a hero who couldn't tell a rose from a lady because both smelled just as sweet.
You were stuck in the back with Dobengal looking online for tasty treats. It was a bit difficult since the desks were all pushed and stacked in the back with chairs and such. Most of the 2-A students were either working out in the halls on banners or inside your class working on the play. Some of the boys like Orga and Rogue were outside working on other props not provided by the drama club.
The school council was nice enough to let you use the stage even though Rufus was no longer apart of them. You just learned that recently when Minerva asked him to ask the council himself. He said, "Sorry, I didn't leave on good terms with them." Thankfully they allowed the use but only because Minerva threatened Jura.
Apparently she wasn't the only 2-A student who knew how to use a permanent black marker the wrong way. Poor Jura was going to become a canvas unless persuaded in the right direction.
"Start it all over again!"
Sting threw his newspaper hat to the ground (compliments of Yukino) and huffed in anger. "This is bullshit!"
"Watch your mouth!" Down the hallway you heard a neighboring teacher shout back the three words everyone is bound to hear in their high school life.
Sting tried breathing in and out but the frustration was still present. "Why am I the lead?"
Minerva was writing down random notes on her director clipboard. "Because you're the hottest guy in our class and to draw more students in and kick the other class' asses, we need you to bring in all the ladies. Maybe even some dudes. Actually, that's why we have Yukino."
"Are you serious?" He groans.
Minerva claps her hands together in a loud fashion. Maybe even louder than needed. "Yes! Now come on! Let's start the scene again!"
You often got distracted watching Sting and he, believe it or not, got very distracted watching you lean in and touch shoulders with Dobengal. He knew just how much Dobengal hated him last year. Both before and during the time period you two were dating.
He remembered easily.
Sting POV
One Year Ago"You've got to be kidding me right?"
"Hello Dobengal."
I walked past him and headed to the street since I had just put my outdoor shoes on. I was going to (or trying to go to) my house. School got out but (Y/N) had to study for an upcoming test. I took the initiative and let her achieve her goals without a distraction. I.E. going home since that distraction was often me.
But Dobengal just had to get in my way and get all up in my grill about (Y/N)'s decision to go out with me.
"Do you even think before you do something?" He asked me, standing in my way at the school's entrance.
I rolled my eyes and nodded my disinterested head as I stared at some trees. "Yes Dobengal. Most people do surprisingly enough."
"I mean it Eucliffe." He looked like he wanted to fight me. He probably would but I knew that with the amount of annoyance he was causing I'd be prone to knocking him out. "(Y/N)'s really nice and if you're just using her-"
