"UGH!"

Sherry practically chucked her phone on the concrete after tapping away for ten minutes -- ten minutes of her mumbling and the sound of her fake nails click click clicking faster than the speed of light. She roared like a bear and threw her head back after stopping herself from destroying her phone, all with no context on the situation whatsoever.

"Uh... Sherry?" Wendy asked. "Are okay?"

Sherry breathed in and out like a big girl and answered with class, "Yes, everything is just peachy." She was totally going to burst any second.

"Are you sure? Because you can tell us--"

"Who does Ren think he is!?!? If he thinks he's going to ski without me he has another thing coming!"

You took a sip of your favorite Starbucks drink and stared at the people walking on the sidewalk just outside the window. Sherry, Chelia, Wendy, and you, all sat at the bar people watching. Well, Sherry was texting the entire time, but it wasn't a big deal.

Now it was the biggest deal. It even caught the attention of a few calmed customers.

"I mean honestly! It's supposed to be a trip to strengthen our relationship,"

"Actually it's a school trip..."

"And he goes texting me things like, 'I'm gonna hang with the guys' and 'It's not like I want you to stick to me the whole time anyway' like, it was cute for two seconds but if he pulls a stunt like this on the trip I'm going to shove him off that damn mountain!"

It was decided that skiing was the destination for the class trip and not everyone was too excited about it, for a number of reasons.

Natsu was pissed about the cold, Erza was bummed she couldn't try on her new suit, Sherry couldn't show off her bikini for Ren, even Lyon was a little frosty about going skiing with Gray, his longtime rival. Turns out they grew up learning snowboarding, skiing, and any other winter-related sport together under the same trainer.

Lyon told you, "If I have to spend more than two seconds near that ignorant arse I'm going to kill myself." He was overdramatic at most and could use a chill pill.

But he and everyone else couldn't stand the idea of this trip.

Sting was pissed too, but he got over it once he realized you wouldn't be wearing a bikini in 5-degree weather.

"I don't think he'll hang out with them the whole time," You told her while rubbing her back. "He's just playing hard to get, ya know?"

Sherry slumped over and groaned into her crossed arms on the countertop. "Yeah, I guess."

"You guys sure have it tough." Chelia said.

She and Wendy were first years so they didn't get to go on the trip -- only second years could go. They'll probably get a nice summer vacation for their trip next year.

"Get us a souvenir okay?"

"As the class representative, I have to make a plan and split people up in groups. Minerva's not doing anything so I'm stuck doing all the work!"

Sting laid over the kotatsu with papers spread everywhere. His homework and class responsibilities were finally getting to him.

To comfort him, you made him some hot cocoa and instant ramen -- the only things you could make while he was studying.

You set the cups down away from his papers and rubbed his back. "It's okay Sting, I'm here. Do you want me to help in any way?" You asked.
