Every moment with Sting felt more special. Every now and then you'd think about the year you have left together. It felt crazy, unrealistic that you guys would be going to different schools and separated for possibly four years. Only time would tell and in that time either you or Sting could change your minds and wind up going to the same college. Maybe not going to college at all.

Finals were almost over. To compensate for all the missed time spent at Brandish's club, you used lunch and breaks eating and studying in the class. Sometimes you wish you took those extra lessons but there was no reason to transfer any more. You weren't separating from Sting until you absolutely had to, and he felt the same way.

As much as you wanted to hang out with Sherry and Chelia, you often rejected their invitations and used that time with Sting.

You'd try new restaurants in town, see movies, have nights at home, and go on walks to the park together. Basically, every couple-like activity was on the agenda every time you two were together — except when you were at school.

Sting used his lunch and breaks to study too. Most of the council students and class reps buckled down this time of year and you did the same. The only time you got to spend with him was after work or Brandish's place and hopefully in the mornings if Natsu, Gray, and Rogue didn't invite him to go work out early.

Sting was also training a lot. He ate nothing but meat and vegetables for days straight and cried when he got a taste of chocolate on his cheat day. You attempted to diet with him but found it was a lot more difficult for you when all you would eat was rice mixed with random food in your home.

"Too many carbs," Sting cried to you. "I can't have carbs for a month and it's killing me."

You comforted him the only way you knew how. By offering him chicken and petting his sunshine hair.

Brandish had a show coming up and you were her helper through all of it. You fixed tears and stitched mess ups as practice. However, you had yet to design anything of your own. Brandish went as far as to give you a sketchbook. She told you, "Whenever you have an idea, don't hesitate to write it down, even if it's ridiculous."

You took that advice for a day and gave up. Everything you were writing down sounded like garbage. You wrote the word, 'sunshine' and things like people's hair cuts and styles — none of it had anything to do with outfits and clothes so you tore the first page out and started over. You haven't put a single thing in there second time around. You took it everywhere and nothing inspired you.

"Draw me," Sting said you as you both did homework in a nearby cafe. The same cafe Rogue admitted he didn't mind having you as his future wife.

As nice as Rogue was, you couldn't imagine future him and future you being happy. You liked Sting and your freedom of choice way too much.

You had homework in front of you but that sketchbook of yours open to the first page on top of your work.

You sighed, "I can't even put a word down. I have no inspiration going through my head. All I have is stress and school. There's no way I can draw a relatively decent version of you."

Sting laughs and grabs the book to put it on top of his textbook. He began sketching something on the page and at this point, you didn't give a damn who wrote in the book, so long as it has something in it.
