"Toni I want to know why everyone is warning me about you . Your sister shows up to my house and says you did some shit and it's causing problems now . I won't judge you because I love you and I have no place to judge. Before I met you it was all about the hoes and all that . Now I just want you but your making it real hard . You couldn't trust me at first because you thought I was trying to play you . But I didn't and I try to prove that to you every day by loving you . I'm dead ass you can't keep hiding shit and lying . Now is there anything you need to tell me ?" she asked then waited for my response.

Do I tell her the truth? I mean either way she will walk right ? Well she wanted the truth so here it goes . I told her everything the absolute raw truth . Everything including Omar, Jane, and my stepfather. She listened closely and was very attentive. "I swear I was set up."

"Toni I don't think I can or even want to deal with that type of drama. I love you and I'm not judging but " she took a deep breathe as looked away to say ." I don't think I can do this . You lied for months now you tryna come clean after your sister came and told me to watch myself around you.Relationship are built on trust T . Would you even have told me if I didn't bring it up ? "

"Honestly no ..well yes but shit I fucked up ." I ran my hands through my hair ,she made her choice. " I don't wish anything like this upon anyone anyway . Trust me close relationships I've had are all messed up. All because of my poor decision."I kissed Dakota's forehead then grabbed my gym bag .

"I understand " with that being said I walked out and never looked back.

Three Months Later

After the discussion Toni and I had things we different. Weird ..especially in the hallway we would always look at each other . Never said a word when she got into trouble I always asked around to see what was up . I just felt this pull like I wanted her . But I knew I didn't need Toni . We shared a toxic relationship. She has so much baggage but I'm crazy about her . It's just to much so I fell back into old habits.Things has gotten weird around the house . My mom and her boyfriend are living together. Ohh school is going great for once .

"Hello .. Earth to Dakota are you coming on the college tour with us ?" One of the girls asked me . Zaria she was browskin about 5'4 pretty smile .

"I'm sorry ma was a little spaced out for a lil min . Yeah I'm coming " I smiled while  looking over at the flood of kids coming in the class . Of course I would see Toni but whatever.

"I can give you my number if you want " she said slightly bitting on her bottom lip . I chuckled while reach into my pocket to give her my phone . She takes it then puts her number in . There stood a jealous Toni watching us.She shook her head in disbelief but I ignored her dramatics and focused back on the girl .

"Anddd..... here you go , feel free to use it " Zaria smiled and walked off . There was an annoyed Toni walking over to my desk . I laughed while leaning back in my seat to see what stupidity was about to fly out of her mouth .

"So you picking up broads numbers now huh ? "Toni looked over at the girl then rolled her eyes . Ha jealous much

"Awe don't be like that baby " I said leaning over  playing with the hanging strap on  her book bag . "Feel free to use it " she said mocking her voice . "Your an ass ..real nice " I smirk

"Just get back with me you don't even have to deal with all the extra stuff. "Toni begged but once she realized it wasn't working she gave me the puppy dog face . She got the same annoyed face from the beginning.

"Fine fuck you then when I start dating don't say shit " she stormed off to her seat right before the second bell rang .

Ignoring Toni's last comment I pull out my phone to text Zaria . It was a vague text just letting her know it was my number . Zaria was gorgeous and smart . If we dated it would be oh so simple . Hell maybe I need simple in my life right now .
