"Today is a very important day class and I need all eyes on the PowerPoint " Ms.Martinez said

Right there she lost me I'm not even in the mood . I love literature but Ms.Martinez is so damn boring her voice annoys me .

"Hey can I copy off your notes " I asked the girl siting next time me . She rolled her eyes and kissed her teeth then spoke "Dakota your have a pencil and some paper right ?"

I nodded my head confused then she asked me another question." You have two eyes and two ears correct ? Alright then I suggest you use them "

At that moment I didn't know if I should've been pissed or turned on . "All you had to do is say no but what's your name?" . The light from the PowerPoint lit up the room . The girl looked up at me and my eyes came in contact with her beautiful blue eyes .

"Serena ,but can you please be quiet so I can hear" she returned her attention back to the teacher .

I began to half way take notes but Serena had my full attention . Once the bell sounded throughout the school everyone jumped up and ran to the door . Ms.Martinez tried to pull that the bell doesn't dismiss you I do shit , but nobody listed to that . For a minute I contemplated on approaching her but I grew the balls and walked over to her. "So I was about to leave but then realized I didn't have the prettiest girl number in class"

Serena chuckled while throwing her bookbag on her shoulder ."Dakota everyone knows you hop from bed to bed . And that pick-up line is wack as hell . I'm actually disappointed I expected you to be some bad ass or player . But I guess its all rumors "

I smirked then ran my tongue across my bottom lip."Ouch but I get it the whole smartass act its cute I guess . " I shrugged

"I know I'm cute babygirl but I don't do studs " Serena bit down on her bottom lip while looking me up and down . "next time shut up so I can hear the boing ass teacher " She said then walked out of the class . she don't do studs my ass ...the liessss

I walked throughout the halls I call school . Everything was normal people calling me names and the girls whispering as I walked by shit felt normal . No more Dakota trying to save me . Shit returned to me being the schools target and her being the schools hot toy.

"Aye nerd lemme holler at you " Some dumb jock called after me ."Nah I'm cool on all that " I started to speed walk to my class but the hulk caught up with me . He pulled me back by my hair "All you had to was walk over and see what I wanted " His grip got tighter but no I wasn't going to cry .

"I don't owe  you shit " I tried to pull on his arm so he would let me go but that only made thing worse . He dragged me by my hair all the way down the hall . The hulk forcefully let me go sending my body to the floor ,but on the trip down my head hit the locker.

"Your a coward " I spat but quickly noticed the crowd formig around us . Just like typical  high schoolers they took out their phones and took pictues . I stood up then straight up slapped the shit out of his ass "Take a picture of that " I yelled then walked out of the school . Enough is Enough

After my little chat with Serena I heard a lot of people laughing and yelling . I didn't pay it much mind because that's how the hallway is all of the time , but once I got into the hallway I notice a big ass crowd . Nahh not for the drama today so I ignored the obvious fight happening and took my ass to math .

"Your late " The substitute said as a group of us walked in the class.

"MANE BYE YO ASS IS A SUB YOU DONT RUN SHIT UP IN HERE "I though to myself as I took my seat in the back of the class .

"Today is going to be real easy do the classwork on the board then turn it in . Obviously no talking and after that's done the rest of the class period is yours " The sub gave the class the instructions but I couldn't hear not a damn word because of three people .

"Can yall lower your voice " I turned around and notice them all hovered over a phone watching something . "Hellooo " I waved my hand in their face praying to get some type of response, but nope all I got was giggles and damn look at her hair .

I snatched the phone and was about the throw it until I looked down at the screen . "The fuck is this ? " . The girl laughed then said "That girl ....your always standing up for got snatched up " . I scrolled through the pictures then saw a thirty second video . Damnit Toni ...........

              ZOEY

"Look I want to see my daughter ok its long over do Zoey ." My mother the bitch herself had the audacity to ask me if she could pop up in Toni's life. "Uhhhh hell no you cant just show up when you feel its convenient for you. Oh ...MY..GOD your still selfish as hell. Your inconsistent as fuck let Toni move on with her life . She doesn't know about half of your dirt because I respect you enough not to spill . But don't make me do anything you will regret."

"I'm her mother Zoey and I will do what's best for her. Remember your not her mother . " she shrugged then took a sip of her wine . I leaned over the table so she could just hear me ."Look I don't want to flex on your ass in this restaurant but I will if I feel need be . Come near her and I swear " . My mother chuckled then leaned over to me " Swear what ?"
