After getting dressed I made my way downstairs. Everything within me wanted to skip today but I figured since it was my last year of high school I might as well go . "Morning" I kissed my mother on the cheek.

"GoodMorning Kota " she handed me a bowl and a box of lucky charms. "Sorry sweetie I overslept, but I will have dinner on speed dial ." I giggled and said "As long as it's Chinese " .

I take my bowl of cereal and scroll through Snapchat. Why does everybody feel the need to have extra long snaps . "So how are you holding up ? You know with the Marcus thing ?"

"Well I guess it's a day by day thing . But since we have a child together we have to be mature adults . Later on today we will have lunch to discuss everything ." She rubbed her stomach as she made her daily breakfast smoothie. The shit is green and stinks up the whole damn house , but I never complain.

"That's good let me know how it goes . But I gotta go mom so I'm out . " I drink the rest of my milk in my bowl then lock my phone and put it in my back pocket . "Can I use the Jeep ? Pleaseee". I poke my bottom lip out .

"No reckless driving Dakota and I mean it "

        

                     The Hallway
Toni

Today was a lazy day for me I walked down the hallway in a hoodie and some joggers . It's senior year I only have three more months then I'm out this bitch . No more people pushing me into lockers and dumbasses standing in the middle of the hallway talking . Like bitch you see me trying to get past and I know you hear me saying excuse me . Don't just stand there acting slow , move your bobble head ass out of the way so I can go to class . No more unnecessary drama with Jane and Zoey . Just a new fresh clean slate ...

Walking down the hall I see two girls laughing and then kiss . Whoever was spitting mad game damn boii  I laugh to my self . No more of that shit either .

You know that saying curiosity killed the cat ? Well whoever came up with that did not lie . I turned around to see who the girls were and of course it was her . Why did I turn around?????

I look up from Serena and my eyes meet with Toni's . Shit well this is awkward . *ringgggggggg*
Saved by the bell literally.

Business Tech

"Aye Toni -" Dakota called after me . "What " I took my seat at the furthest of the teachers desk . "We cool right ? Like I don't want an-" . I cut her off by putting my headphones in and turning the volume all the way up .

"Chill Dakota it's all good . I've been there and done that ." I looked her up and down then zoned back in my music. Dakota pulls one of my headphones out of my ear and says "Still the same ole T huh ?" .

Dakota chuckles then puts the headphone back in and takes a seat in front of me .

📖30 minutes into class📖

For once the class was lit , we did a couple group projects and group activities . "Don't forget your phone ." Dakota handed me my phone ."yeah uh thanks " I take a seat across from her .

I unlocked my phone and opened an blocked messaged . My jaw dropped as soon as I saw the picture. " Is everything ok ?"

"No uhh..uhh... I need to go " I put my phone in my pocket ,grabbed my things and walked out the class.

"Ok Toni calm down how the hell Am I going to get her ?" I asked myself out loud as I paced back and forth. "Toni what the hell ?" Dakota yelled .

"Go back in class Dakota I don't have time for you or ya lil hoe . " I rolled my eyes .

"I thought you was cool Toni ! And remember you was the one going around lying and shit . But this is a conversation for later why the hell you storming out of class ? " Dakota asked .

"And remember you was the one that wasn't really down but look !"I showed her the picture of Zoey tied up with two guys pointing guns at her head .

"Aww shit !! What are we going to do ? What does she want ? " now Dakota was pacing back and forth while rubbing her temples.

"All they want is me so that's what they'll get ." I grabbed my things and made my way for the EXIT . That was cut short quickly because Dakota strong ass pulled my back . " Your not going without me T! And that's a fucking fact . " Dakota grabbed my wrist tight.

"No your not " I tried to pull away but her grip got tight by every tug . "LET...ME .....GO "

Dakota let my wrist go and pushed me against the locker "look I'm going now so chill we have bigger problems we need to be on one page !"

"Fine just let me go !" I yelled and she did as she was told .

"Now if something happen to me -" Dakota started to say some sappy shit but I cut her off and said " look I got you .. I owe you that "

A/N : For the next week or two I will be trying to drop two chapters so just stick with me
