Before we get into this chapter I want to apologize for not dropping any chapters . Irma just fucked everything up big time . But that's all I have to say . I will let you get into the chapter now 👇🏽 .

                  Previously

A few minutes later she pulled away and bit down on her bottom lip. She looked everywhere but in my eyes . "Dakota I can't "

I raised a brow ...fuck she mean she can't ? You wasn't saying that a few seconds ago  . Instead of saying the first thoughts that came to my mind I said "I don't understand " .

"I have something to tell you "

                       Toni

"What is it ?"

"I haven't been completely honest with you Dakota." I sat on the sofa then tapped the seat next to me ."Come sit "

Dakota kissed her teeth as she sat next to me . "I'm listening T"

"Dakota, Marcus is married already with a family." I said

Dakota had this confused expression on her face ."I know but how do you know that ? I didn't tell you or anyone at that . "

"Huh .... What did you say ?" I walked into the kitchen. "Don't play stupid Toni . You have a brain use it don't play slow ." Dakota said with a slight attitude in her tone .

Ignoring her last comment I focus on finding something to eat . Dakota comes in the kitchen and closes the cabinet I was looking through. "Toni I know you heard my question loud and clear . How in the hell did you know that if I didn't tell you ?"

I turn and face her "Look I've known Marcus for awhile now . He's always giving me money and helping Zoey out ."

Dakota chuckles while shaking her head. "Toni why didn't you tell me ? My mom is pregnant with his child and he moved in . Do you know how much unnecessary BS she went through with him ?"

"I was- " She cuts me off before I could even finish explaining myself

"You were scared? You was going to tell me ? Or was it another one of your favorite lies ? " She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath .

"I'm sorry "

Dakota puts a finger up and says "Toni Don't .... we need space big time . "

Dakota walked off but before reaching the door she stopped . She turned around shook her head and walked out of the door .....right out of my life

I don't know what it is with that girl . Honestly how can you lie all the time and when your not lying your withholding important information. I needed to clear my head so I pulled up to Serena's spot .

When I got to her house she introduced me to her parents . Her mom grilled me , but at the end I left a good impression. We watched a couple of movies and stayed up late talking about everything. Life decisions, college plans , and our childhood we connected on a deeper level.

"Damn you really like pink ." I said as I looked at her pink walls .

She laughed " Yeah whatever ... I was really into pink when I was younger "

"I can see "

She turned on her side so that she was facing me . I turned my head and looked at her . "Your parents are really nice "

Serena rolled her eyes "I'm so sorry about my mom ."

I laugh "Its all good "

Serena gives me a quick peck on the lips . I laugh then ask "What was that for ?"

She shrugged "Anyways "

I cupped her chin then kissed her . I pulled away "So where were we ?"

Serena straddle me "No where important " . She kissed my neck then my lips then my ear . 

I licked my bottom lip and she giggled. "Lemme take you on a date "

"Be my girl first " she said all nonchalant

I looked at her confused as hell "Be your what ?"

"Will you be my girlfriend. It's a yes or no question "  she said as her hands roamed my body

"Yes I will be your girlfriend " I kissed her lips then flipped us over so that I was on top . I pulled my shirt over me head
