Searching through the first suitcase it was a couple shirts and shorts . The second suitcase had a couple items of clothing,but there was sundress that my mother had on when we had lunch . "Why is your dress in here ?" I ask myself out loud .

I push the suitcase over and a gun slides down onto the pile of clothes with a wallet. Perfect I check the wallet for ID and their was her ID. "Ain't this bout a bitch"

"Care to explain why your here " a voice echoed throughout the house . I grabbed my gun from my back pocket and my prepared myself to shoot .  "It's nice of you to stop by ,I began to wonder what took you so long ?"Jane leaned against the wall of the living room .

I turned around to face the devil herself for one last game. I aimed the gun at her chest then her head. "Put the gun down !" A voice behind me yelled , seconds later I felt a gun on both sides of my temples. "Alright cool " I said as I dropped the gun .

Jane smiled while picking the gun up . "Take her to the basement last thing I want is her blood everywhere."

"I missed you " she pulled me in a hug while her voice lingered in my ears . Why is she here ? Why now ? Not now ! I really didn't know how to respond or how to feel at this moment . "Well are you going to let me in or just stand there ?" my mother asked while snapping me out of my thoughts .

"Uh.. oh yeah come in  " I said while stepping aside to let her in . "So why are you here mom ? Like why now ?"  I  closed the door with my foot  .

"No, I came to make peace " she pushed the strap of her purse further onto her shoulder. I kissed my teeth "Really ma you couldn't come up with any other excuse in the world . You came to  make peace ..ha you got mad jokes "

" No Toni I'm serious sometimes I do things that I think helps you and your sister. But I fail to realize that all I'm doing is hurting you instead of helping. Let's face it I was never a great mother but that doesn't change the fact that I will always love you . " my mother tried to reach out but I pulled my arm away.  "Please forgive me ."

"I will forgive you because your not worth holding a grudge . I will never be able to trust you again and I will never look at you the same . Your my mother so I respect you but -" . Before I could finish her phone went off and instead of ignoring it she answered .

"Wow so your going to answer your phone right now ?! "

"I'm so sorry I have to go " my mother whispered while covering the bottom of her phone with her hand . "Yes...yes...yes I'm on my way !"

I opened the door" Bye mom " . She mouthed I'm sorry then walked out of the door. Always some bullshit !!
