"When is this supposed other member joining?" I asked slightly annoyed. "She'll be joining in a couple of weeks. Manager-nim said she ditched her company because she didn't like the circumstances she was put under over there." Yeonjin explained. I nodded to show that I understood. "We're 4tell though.. What sense would it make, to add a fifth member?" I questioned. "Yeah, I know. It doesn't make much sense at all." Eunjae said. "Maybe she'll just be someone who lives in our dorm and collaborates with us often." Miran suggested. We all just stared at her for her stupidity.

I attempted to text Rocky with the news, but I remembered last night. I remembered how he looked at me when he saw Sanha and I outside that door. I decided to message him anyway because he can't be mad at me for long, right?

Me
Rocky oppa, can you meet me at the cafe we usually go to?

Minhyukie(_ರೃ)
Why don't you have Sanha go take you.

Me
I don't want to go with Sanha, I want to go with you, Minhyuk oppa.

Minhyukie(_ರೃ)
Alright, as long as you stop calling me oppa

A few minutes after that I started dressing myself in proper clothing and eventually made my way out of the dorm. I thought along the way to the cafe I thought about our group, the new family we have made. Our debut wasn't super strong, so maybe we're doing a subgroup within our group with a more experienced performer. I walked into the cafe and ordered an Italian mocha. I also ordered a bowl of fruit that the cafe had available. If it weren't obvious already, I enjoyed the sweetness of fruit when I wasn't allowed to have sweets. My mind roamed with thoughts of the new member.

I then thought this new member was to replace one of us.

I convinced myself that was ridiculous and that the CEO would never decide something so drastic right after our debut. I pushed the thought to the back of my mind, but really I was afraid more than I had ever been. "Arina!" The barista called out. I went to the counter to get my order of coffee and fruits. Thoughts continued to zoom through my head as much as I tried to push them aside.

'Me, it's me. I'm gonna be replaced. It's because I don't speak Korean as well as the others. It's because I struggle with dancing. Because I weigh too much.'
I sipped at my coffee although it wasn't going to help my nerves at all. Anxiety started to settle and I munched quickly on the pineapple stabbed onto my fork. Rocky then walked into the cafe, 20 minutes late. "What is it Arina?" He asked as he sat down. "I think I'm getting replaced." I told him in shock of my own words. "Replaced?" He questioned with the ugliest look that the prettiest boy could ever make. "Yeah. I mean, I'm fat, I can't speak Korean that well, and I don't dance very good. The other members are so much more talented than me. It only makes sense." I explained while tearing up.

"I'm not going to be a member of 4tell anymore." I squeaked out.

Rocky stared at me, obviously not knowing what to say. "I'm sure they're not replacing any of you, Arina. You're just paranoid." He said calmly. I chugged down the mocha, burning my throat on the way down. "Sorry for making you come here. I gotta go now though. The new member is coming tomorrow and we have to clean the dorm." I yelled and ran out of the cafe. At the dorm, I panicked and blurred out my thoughts.

"Guys, I think one of us is getting replaced!" I stammered. "What?!" Eunjae yelled. "How could this have happened?"

I wasn't even sure how to handle this. I started sobbing and broke down. "Guys, I think I'm the one being replaced. I'm just holding you guys down anyway. You all are so talented and I'm just a lump on stage." I said through sobs. Yeonjin came out with a suitcase that seemed already packed. She was looking at the ground and sniffles frequently. "Actually," she started, "I'm the one being replaced."

She looked up at us crying an ocean. "I'm sorry. I didn't want to tell you guys because you would be all sad. But you're all sad anyway." She sniffed. I stopped crying for a moments notice and hugged her with all of my strength. I sobbed again and soon we were both crying oceans, mine the Atlantic and hers the Pacific. "Why is the CEO replacing you?" I asked her. "He said I'm too immature for our group and that I wasn't ready to debut. I'll still be with the company just not with the group." She explained carefully and slowly. I was relieved that she wasn't being kicked out of the company, but was still disappointed because my roommate that I've learned to love so much was leaving. Someone else was going to take that spot. Someone else was going to be my roommate. "We'll help you move to your new dorm." Miran offered. "Yeah." Eunjae agreed. I let go of Yeonjin and started taking her things up to the trainee dorms. Soon enough, there was an empty bunk, and an empty half of what was then my room.

That night our manager announced that our new member was indeed coming the next day. So I went to bed early to stop the thoughts about a new person.

In the morning, I woke up with a crazy case of bedhead. I showered and fixed my hair, but it wouldn't help. I put on a hat to cover the mess I called my hair. It was about 10 am when I was actually ready. Miran and Eunjae seemed anxious and cleaned the dorm to a perfection. At exactly 10:30 am, the manager walked in and behind him was the new addition to our group.
"Girls, this is Sora Mukai. She will be the new maknae of your group. Welcome her with friendly manners." This girl looked terrified and had a scarf wrapped all around her neck, although outside it wasn't cold. She seemed only a bit younger than I, so I figured we'd be able to get along very well. "Welcome, Sora. You're name is beautiful. Where are you from?" Eunjae said. "Japan." Sora answered quietly with a voice sweeter than any cake I've ever eaten. "I'm from Japan as well!" I said excitedly. Her hair seemed long, but it also seemed like it were a wig. "I'm glad I have someone to help me with my Korean." She said in Japanese. I laughed at her embarrassment. "Don't worry you'll be fine. You don't need to know big words." I told her. She nodded and smiled and toothy smile. Her smile reminded me of a rabbit. "We're roommates now." I told her with excitement in my voice. She nodded her head and followed me with her suitcase.

"To give you a heads up, I have some friends that are boys from another group. They'll think you're so cute." I told her with a smile.
