Mom's New Man

After we left Cedar Point, I dropped Jace off and headed home.

I walked in the door and saw my mom and some guy sitting on the couch.

"Sweetie, come sit down." My mom said. I walked over to the couch and sat down next to her.

"Uh, mom who is this?" I asked her, jerking my head towards the guy.

"This is Spencer. I've been seeing him for 3 months and I thought it was time for you two to meet." She replied.

I stared at Spencer. Nice looking guy. Not too bad. I feel she could do better but you know.. Not my man.

Spencer cleared his throat and I noticed he looking at me expectantly. Shit! He said something. What the hell did he say?

"Yes?" I said.

"Oh you do have a girlfriend. What's her name?" He asked. The fuck?

"Uh no. I'm gay and currently single." I said.

He looked very uncomfortable, "Oh." Was all he said.

I looked at my mom for silent permission to leave the room. She gave a slight nod and I walked upstairs to my room. 

That was very uncomfortable.

"If I had you, that would be the only thing I'd ever need."  My phone sang. I changed my ringtone to Adam Lambert.

I dug my phone out of my pocket and answered it. 

"Hello." 

"Hi. Um, this is Kyle. You never called and asked for directions to my house." He said.

"Oh...Um..Sorry. Yea. Could you give me those directions." I mumbled with a blush. Good thing he couldn't see it. 

After he gave me the directions we hung up and I got ready for bed. 

When I laid down for bed my phone rang. 

"Whoever this is better have a good reason for calling me at 12am." I said. 

"I do have a good reason. Could you meet me at the Hideout?" Jace asked. 

"Oh sorry Nerd. I'll be there in 10minutes. Are you there already?" I asked.

"Yea I'm here. Just hurry. I really need to talk to you." 

I hung up and ran out the house. No need to get dressed. I have on Mario  pajamas and no shirt. Not like it's cold outside. 

I arrived at the Hideout and saw Jace sitting on our rock, playing with A.J. A.J is our stick. We named him for some odd reason. 

I went and sat on the rock and put my hand on his shoulder. "You okay Nerd?" 

"Chase called me." He said in a whisper. Damn, I knew this shit would happen. 

"What'd he say?" I asked.

"He wants me to meet him for dinner. " Jace said.
